    I can't even imagine the hard work and skill that went into everything that you captured. Well done. I utilized the first segment as "my moment of silence" for the 29 lost lives. The beautiful images paired with the perfect soundtrack were synergistically wonderful.

    Love that you included some stills from Duluth as well. I appreciate having both the sound of the water and the music overlaid. Well done. 😊

    Walked here last January; cold, oh so cold, snow everywhere. Late in the afternoon, stunningly beautiful scenery, sun low on the horizon. No sounds, just the crunch of our foot steps, my son and I. Thank you for this amazing video and bringing back those beautiful memories.

    May they rest in peace...those 29 men. BUT....May they ALSO rest in peace, the 1500 PLUS people that died in shipwrecks less that 100 miles from where I'm writing this.

      It's great having such a unique lake, that can behave as the ocean, just a couple hours from where I live.

    Love the video.nicely done..why don’t they keep the light lit all the time?

    Thank you for at least keeping the storm audio included, but it’d be even better without the background music.

    • @scottmcnally
      @scottmcnally  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a fine line between storm audio and annoying wind in the mic. The music adds a balance between the two.

    Where did you take the pictures from at the 5 minute time. Love the spot you were photographing from.

      Tettegouche State Park. The cliff with the radio tower is Palisade Head.

    I see you listed a Mavic in your equipment list. How did it perform in these winds? Curious if I talked to you at Palisade Head this fall…

    • @scottmcnally

      It was too windy for me to chance it! I have flown the Air 2S in decent winds, but not here. I didn't need it at the bottom of Superior. Haha

    10 Nov 1975 was mega worse. 200 years prior, to the sinking, was the birth of my Marine Corps.

      It’s not like that all the time. Lake Superior for the most part is pretty calm the rest of the time.

      Thanks for watching! My guess is technology on ships has made the lighthouse not needed. And probably cost and maintenance.
