Great video. You could really see the transfer of initiative from one side to the other at that moment when you guys noticed the tanks maneuvering up the hill near you. It drives home the importance of having good scouts around to keep you informed. I bet the Kiowa will help with that once its released. Congrats on 1k subs.
25:35 If only it came up after you cracked the front one on a rolling takeoff... :D - seems to be extremely weak for a while now, never was a problem some years ago though :) It's always fun and kinda soothing to see how smooth you fly the thing - literally as calm as your voice.
I’m the Barry white of combat helicopters. Yeah the gear handle was down but I never verified they were actually down. I seem to have them damaged and unable to drop more than average. But I didn’t even try the emergency release cause I never bothered to check. Never flown anything IRL that needed gear dropped so it’s still not normal to me.
New as a kamov-50 pilot.. I would like to know the simple way to use vihkr missiles on mobile target.. Then secondly Syrian map is that a greater deal than gulf Persian map...??? Beautiful video honestly I fly all the time at extremely low altitude.. And trust me u feel all the hardest way and mind to be an attack chopper pilot in hostile zone
Hey Casmo, how far away can you actually hear a helicopter when it's at a low level poking over a hill? Something like a Hind or an Apache. Because a Hip at around 2 kilometers slant is quite distinctive, but that's at about 300 meters of altitude, i'd say. I think i would be able to hear it over a significant background. I feel like coaxial machines are a bit quieter, but i haven't been able to compare, because i very rarely see them, especially at low level. Most recently, last summer during the lockdown, a Ka-27 or something similar was flying over Moscow for some reason for a few days, but at high altitude, maybe 4000 meters or more, you could hear it quite well directly overhead, but not so much when further away.
Your rudder isn’t going to do much for you at high speed because it doesn’t have much authority. It’s not that large. Same with a fixed wing. There is a sweet spot of speed where your actual rudder is going to have any real impact. Below that sweet spot it’s managing main rotor torque to twist the aircraft on its axis. At high speed the air flow is going to be too strong and the control surface too small to have any bite. Thanks for watching!
Could you give us your axis settings, I’ve NEVER had the Ka50 as steady as yours, Mine is more like Woodstock the bird from Snoopy, 😆 Need to do a refresh course, thanks
All I can say is I probably use the trimmer button more than the average bear. If you try and fight the full power of the AP settings you will be struggling. Also turn off the active waypoint in your NAV system as the craft tries to auto align to that point.
That may explain something, trying to use auto pilot and running out of fingers, helo still swinging about in the wind, but will try the trimmer thanks
"That's a technique". Nice to see the Russians are still practising those taran maneuvers.
Of course, Comrade. The weapon of heroes.
(posthumously)
Right? if the gun doesnt work, use the ramming nose cose.. thats a thing right?

Congrats on 1k subs.
Well, sometimes the best things are those one hasn’t planned for. It was a pleasure to watch this video.
Cool stuff and nice masking. Blackshark is such a great module. I love to return to that cockpit.
Your ability to control this thing is astounding to me. I can barely even make the thing fly straight!
Once my G2 gets here. This is the first aircraft I am going to study up on.

Very entertaining, thanks!
Fantastic video! Liked and subbed. Good to see a real challenge... too many videos like this the AI opfor is just sitting ducks. Thank you!
Real Kiowa Pilot Reacts To Syria Map !!! ;)
CLICK BAIT!!1!
Only cool if you do that with R22 once there is one for MSFS20 though :)
Made my day when Mover did that with "Real Cessna pilot"... LMAO :D
Happy 1k Subs!
Loved the closing line.
Just glad someone watched to the end!

Awesome time getting overrun

I was missing your stuff already, my man.
Thanks, again.
Any Flying Circus episode in sight?
We just filmed a campaign mission. 6 players so far. I’m should have it posted today I hope.
New subscriber.
Yeah!
Good vid. Can you do a video on how to properly use the rudders. At high speeds, my rudders seem to not move.

@@CasmoTV Thanks for the tips!

Honestly I don’t think I did anything with my settings for the shark. It’s just 100% fresh squeezed awesome, no additives or preservatives. 😂
@@CasmoTV Thats fine thanks

David DavidS yeah watch my earlier video about the shark as it may give you more idea about what I’m doing differently.
I went to look at your server today but youre not running syria anymore?
It rotates. We went back to PG as we expect the clouds in 2.7 to cause issues. Syria is making a comeback soon.
@@CasmoTV Cool, because I love syria in the Kamov.
It’s my fav map. It’ll come back as soon as it’s deemed safe lol
show do you fly this thing so calm, how do you do the trim? ty
Just steady hands and healthy living.
How did you override the launch authority with the missiles?
Ascher Lafayette there is a manual switch on the left side. It’s small, below the master arm. Think it says Auto/Man
TrackIR or VR???
Track. I’m much too poor for VR
CasmoTV thanks. Looks great. Even mich more fun in the Kiowa or Hind!
Are you using any kind of Graphical mod like Re-Shade or is this all completely stock? Very nice graphic quality
Stock footage. Actually that’s my old computer so it barely ran lol.
