How do I loose my faith in something? I have not even tried this once in my life, and I say I have lost my faith.
How have you lost your faith in it when you never had any faith in it in the first place?
Traditions are not conscious on their own. Its vested interests of selfish people who use traditions for their own selfish gains in the name of religion.
Don't we know better than that?
It is very comforting to the ego to keep spirituality at arms length. Because if you accept that spirituality is the solution, then you will have to self-correct.
Spirituality is about looking within, figuring out all the nonsense that keep circulating within and owning the responsibility to correct and purify and improve yourself. That's what even the well read population doesn't want to do.
Fighting the impurities is very different from fighting religion itself.
You can be very spiritual without being religious. And if you are spiritual without being religious, then you are truly religious.
You have to bring the basics to the people. Let people realize that another way of thought and life is possible.
That's a factual way. If that gives us guilt, fine. To me, that gives us responsibility. And to me, that gives us a glimmer of hope.
Acharya ji You are the reason why I am trying to be vegan and would have kept ignoring this fact if you wouldn't have explained it so simply n deeply Heart felt Gratitude to you 🙏

I turned vegan 5 years ago simply because I had an unexpected epiphany that I will never be able to enter the realm of spirituality if my existence is hinged on the death of sentient beings. It's incongruous if you believe in a supreme being, yet allow unnecessary death of sentient beings (humans included)

Maybe the missing link is the requrement of getting spiritual enlightenment what is needed is an action not just moving the lips with a heart melting wisdom words, the level keep upraising, you starts first from yourself by living peaceful lifestyle with all the surrounds living beings then when you have full control of you actions then yougo to next requirement level which is defending those who can't defends themselves against the evil doers and those negative magnetic souls, whatever outcome you may encounter under this level path have zero worries, always stand up for the righteous action performances, for sure there will be lots of negativity reception. The majority of Indian people are famos for the vegetarian lifestyle, there is more suffering in the dairy products sector the cheese, milk and egg has lots of sufferings and sadness involvement, the wisdon Ahimsa it made me to rethink of how i lived my life and with my surrounding peacefully, i was shocked when i explored through the country that had that golden message at the beginning of time but just reading out and collects proudness that doesnt exists in them, the guy that was sharing that golden Ahimsa message he had a glass of milk on the table that he sat infront while he is explaining the meaning of Ahimsa. By Torturing or Murdering any living beings is wrong but there can be a time where you can be allowed to murder someone, ofcourse that is if your life is being treatened where someone trying to kill you or harm your family then you can act on self defence and there go you just have murdered someone unattentionally but in the act of self defence otherwise you or your beloved ones would be murdered.

There is truth in his words. Veganism is the result of me embracing spirituality with the realization and intention to align my actions with my innate moral conscience. However there are still others who claim to be mentally enlightened or spiritual but still choose to eat meat. These are what I call spiritual hypocrites who lack empathy and still living with a selfish desire, costing the lives of countless sentient innocent beings.

ये मेरे साथ हुआ था! पहले मैं vegan हुआ फिर मुझे पता चला इसे Veganism कहते है। और मै मानता हूं की समझा देने भर से की veganism क्या है, उससे कोई vegan नहीं हो जाते।
क्योंकि मांस खाना गलत है ये तो हमारा देश हमेशा से जानता आया है, और इसी कारण vegetarian भी सबसे ज्यादा भारत में पाए जाते है। मगर फिर भी 70% से ज्यादा लोग मांस इत्यादि खाते है। क्या लोगों को ये नही पता की vegetarian होने का क्या अर्थ है? लेकिन फिर भी लोग vegetarian नहीं होना चाहते, तो हर व्यक्ति तक आप veganism क्या है केवल ये ले जाओगे तो वो vegan होने से रहे।
आप सिर्फ दूध और उसके products खरीदना छोड़ दीजिए और औरों को भी प्रेरित कीजिए।।।इससे beef महंगा बिकेगा क्योंकि दूध और beef साथ साथ चलते हैं।।बीफ महंगा हुआ तो लोग कम खरीदेंगे

Irrespective of how much knowledge you have and how deep your intellect is, the animalistic tendency to consume, to exploit, to be afraid, to be greedy, to be envious, that remains the same.
You will have to keep faith at the center and when faith is at the center then veganism happens on its own and that is the only way veganism can happen.
Once you're spiritual, you cannot bear to consume dairy or meat.
India has religiosity in its soil. You cannot talk to the Indian people in a language of ideology. Indians won't listen to the language of Ideology but Indians will listen to the language of love, compassion and spirituality.
You are supposed to take care of them, not assault them, not kill them, not consume them, not exploit them.
Religion is there so that the uninitiated ones might be somehow introduced to the basic principles and initiated on that long road that passes through firstly spirituality and then ends in liberation.
Religion was designed to be conducive to spirituality.
Definition of Dharma is to constantly remember that the mind has to be brought to a realization, to a relaxation, to a point free of its own impurities.
You cannot discard religion and still hope veganism will succeed.
Veganism without spirituality would be quite dangerous.

I hope this discussion is not going to be that brief, I hope we have just begun walking into the doorway. I do not accept exploitation even that of the plants and human beings and every other carrier of consciousness but that is what is happening with even with the Vegans and animal rescuers, with activists who won't question their desires to procreate or be sane towards an animal but being insane and cruel towards that which doesn't fits in the definition of animal. The veganism which is promoted today is as barbaric and violent as the vegetarianism or ideologies of meat eaters is. The amount of plant based meat producers that are growing every now and then, while we have already enough issues with upcycling and recycling of the waste generated by the current section of consumers, as vegans is there a conscious check to the amount of trash generated because if it is not, then how is the advocation of veganism superior while the intent and outcome is the same because making the vegan food tasty is all that is been tried and continued to do so by almost every vegan, where is सत्व in any of this because that is the core of non violent activity? But now it's just exploitation of plants as we don't harm animals anymore, is that Veganism?
