They're so annoying and when you have the aging thing off, their exaggeration gets a lot more frequent. What's worse is that they fuss over nothing too.
Same, Like my sim is a single mum and has a infant! And for some reason, if I tell her to put the infant to bed or smth and she just stands there like:🧍♀️ It’s so annoying😭✋
You get top notch toddler by maxing all the skills. It is bugged at the moment and doesn't show. It is still there though. Your triplets will have the happy toddler trait.
@@sadielovesshoppingnope OP is correct. You need 5 skill in all traits except potty which is 3 at max for Top Notch Toddler. The Happy Toddler Trait needs a 3 in all traits.
Just a suggestion that might help. You can actually potty train 2-3 kids at a time. You just have to potty train one and have the others watch. They’ll all start gaining the skill
You could use bunk beds for the kids and put the toddlers’ beds as the bottom bunk as a solution since the game allows that. And then once the newborns age up you could then make that room into the three children’s room while already having beds for when the toddlers age up to children and the children age up to toddlers. I grew up with a friend who came from a big family and lived in a three bedroom home and essentially the oldest kids got new stuff and everything else was handed down to the younger children from the oldest kids (he was the oldest kid; parents first kid). The only differences between your sim family and his family is that none were twins and triplets and both his parents worked (dad was a minister, mom is a phlebotomist). They were homeschooled in the evening by the parents until middle school and then went to public school for middle school and high school, except my friend whose grandparents paid for him to go to a private school. It worked out well for him as he had a scholarship and grants and went to Harvard University. He’s now a teacher at a university in North Carolina. I see his mother regularly (his dad died suddenly and unexpectedly a few years ago; his youngest brother died in a car crash his senior year of high school) and while she’s genuinely proud of all her kiddos, she does complain that only one of them is married and has given her grandchildren (one of the middle daughters who only has three kids and says she won’t have more because she hated growing up with so many siblings).
I am loving this series so far. I used to do this all the time in Sims 3. Definitely a challenge and the adults will definitely need a much needed date night when all of the kids are children. 😭😭💕 can’t wait for more parts.
Fastest ways I have found to build toddler skills: Thinking=have them watch an adult or an older kid, Imagination=play in the playhouse, Communication=talk to one of the giant stuffed animals. Movement usually takes care of itself as they roam around, and if you give them the Independent trait, they'll use the potty on their own without needing to get to level 2 first.
I'm pretty sure Top Notch Toddler is from maxing all the skills but apparently it's bugged now (I haven't aged up a toddler in a while so I don't know first hand lol).
I got a toddler to all maxed skills and they still didn't get the trait. I guess they just switched it to infants, who really only need to not be badly neglected to get the top notch trait. They even got it after I aged them up way early with hardly any milestones. (I think it might be based on how happy they are right when they age up)
I had 4 infants at once because my sim had 4 kids back to back and all them but one aged up with the unhappy infant trait lmao, ig I'm a terrible sim parent
I've had kids who were an only child, maxed toddler skills, all but perhaps two of the milestones, and they get the Top Notch Toddler trait but it doesn't show up until they're young adults.
Genuinely impressed by how well you handled all this 😅 literally took a break from playing today because my sim just had twins and i couldn’t handle the stress. i wish i had the patience you do in all of this lol.
You can have toldders watch each other to gain the thinking skill or rumage through a kitchen cabinet by themselves. You can put the open fridge from Get To Work in their room and the toddlers can feed themselves.
I love your videos! Two easy ways to get the thinking skill up is for the toddlers to watch adults or play in the cabinets. The skill goes up pretty fast 😊
You inspired me to do this challenge too ! My two sims (Ethan and Sofia) have two toddlers (Alex and Annabelle), two infants (Blake and Beau) and Sofia is pregnant! Ethan is a Botanist now. Alex is a happy infant while Annabelle is a top notch infant.
I don't know why everyone isn't doing this. And if you put it in there yourself you get 80 rather than just 10 from them cleaning it up. Plus I "store" the extra and can also sell that from the mailbox for even more. Took me forever to figure it all out
I refuse to change toddler sims diapers when they have a potty so the first thing I do is make the parent potty train for the first day of their toddler hood 😂 over and over until level 3
This honestly went way better than I thought! The other day I was using little ms Sam’s foster mod and I had one adult fostering a toddler and an infant and I was losing my mind. After two infants I gave up and opted to only foster toddlers and children instead
Thought it was going to be utter chaos, but it wasn't as much of shitshow as we'd thought. Still was hectic, but was taken care of pretty well. And as for the Top Notch Toddler trait, you have to have all toddler skills at 5, and the potty skill at 3. That'll be the skills all maxed out, then they'll get the trait.
Sometimes with your rushing I notice you don't see all the bad things around...like the old/ spoiled food you had the toddlers eating & refrigerator till had spoiled food inside of it. Again falls under if you actually did normal playing would notice it all, but my opinion.
in my game, I had two infants and two newborns and a nanny. I still found it so hard because they wouldn't do the commands that I was giving them. I was so happy when they aged up lol
I am in so much shock right now...the triplet girls, the one named Felicity, that's my name, i just go by Lissy. When i heard you say her name was gonna be Felicity, my heart started racing from shock.
Me watching knowing that you need Level 5 in all skills for the Top-Notch Toddler reward trait: 😅 lmao. Ah well. Level 3 should get you the Happy Toddler trait though.
I would have put bunk beds were the toddler bed are and sale the bottom buck and put toddler beds there to replace the bottom buck beds. Then made one of the cribs into a toddler bed with the handieness skill.
I'm also trying to make a big family but I'm wanting them to have 6 kids and its a full werewolf family. so far the werewolf parents have twin daughters. Sonya is a werewolf while Krysta is a HUMAN with the dormant wolf trait. I pretty sure I know how to turn a sim with the dormant wolf trait into a werewolf, but I'm pretty sure it only works if shes a teenager or older.

I have a sim named Laila Epps she is married to Brent and adopted a daughter named Kaley Epps. She was nine months old when her real parents abandoned her as a infant now her adopted mom and dad took care of her
I haven't played the game in about 4 months and now that I am back I find these horrible glitchy infants. I looked everywhere for the diaper changing table and could not find it anywhere. I have one that was CC, but it does not work. It's not under tables and nothing comes up under infants. Please let me know. Anyone? Thank you bunches! Love your videos. Very cute family. ❤
I think most people loose their sanity by 1 infant because they are so needy, with more kids, someone will die. By adding infants made the sims 100000000x more harder
I think if there were less glitches it would be a lot less stressful. And if the times were more accurate. Like eating 45 min, batheing 30 min, cooking 1 hour etc. It's more the just standing there looking then walking away instead of doing the cued-up action that annoys me

For the thinking skill, you can get the kid to observe, follow around their parents and observe. That makes the skill go up very fast.
You can potty train two toddler at the same time. On is training and the other is watching. Maybe more than two toddlers.
