    I would also add, the biggest thing that has helped me so far (I'm starting my senior year now) is to use the office hours and TA hours as much as possible! Work with your friends (not all the time though cause it can be distracting) and get help from upperclassmen, perhaps even make friends with them and they can help you through the really hard stuff. Use your resources and don't just suffer through it by yourself

    Omg I feel like you are talking about me. All the tips are useful. The most tip that I found is common is that most of the time you are teaching yourself.. sometimes I was feeling I’m not understanding the topic while others were understood even though it is my second year but I still have this feeling. The only advice I have is that you need to work harder and it is normal if you don’t get the topic from the first time remember that sometimes we go downs and ups but you will walk that stage and get your bachelors degree.

    OMG thank you. I do most of this. I just started using OneNote in my classes because I used to rewrite everything on paper and found it time consuming.
    Next semester I'm taking biochem, physiology, bio instrumentation, and something like that lol so it's a lot of memorization.

    • @TheBMELife
      @TheBMELife  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I used OneNote for a while too, and I liked that you could use your computer with it too! Are you attending UTSA by any chance?
      Also, let me know if you have any other tips we didnt mention, would love to know!
      Thank you for the suggestion!! :)

    Studying these days with all those apps and electronics and... wasn't so implemented yet from 2007-2012. Nowadays you see every student with a laptop in the auditorium...
    Anyway, my #1 advice you already know (if you've seen the video on my channel, and I know you did ;)) is to PAY CLOSE attention in class, that's half the job!
    Great tips!
    And yes, resources are everywhere! And yes, some professors don't have teaching skills! So yes, if so, do it yourself! :D

    • @TheBMELife
      @TheBMELife  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Biomed Master Yes!! It’s crazy how much paying attention actually helps 😅 it is just sooo easy to get distracted!
      I personally have never been able to take notes on a laptop, but I do use an iPad because it gives the same feel as a notebook and you’re not using paper 😎
      Thank you for your feedback!

      They're both different degrees. If you want to be more focused on chemistry/pharma, then do pharmacy. If you're interested in learning about biomedical research and medical devices, then do BME!
