    In the book of savindra Singh sir ,
    The isostasy theory , Dutton was proposed in 1859 , is it wrong ,,
    Cause u say that it was proposed in 1889 , pls sort out the confusion sir

      Dutton was born in 1841...just think...could he propose the term at 18 years of age...it's a misprint in the book...the term was given in 1889....best wishes 👍😊

      Height or ..."depth" ??... Approximate value is given in the book as 100...113 is what was estimated value by Hayford Bowie...it's more or less same..👍

    Sir u said airy concept is useful for Mountain but he used the concept of 1:9 (ratio of icebergs)
    And has been criticised for this because the roots of Himalayas at this level is not not possible because of high pressure and temperature at this depth
    What is right😓😓

      Plz reply one thing that I am a bsc mathematics student I had not geography in my bsc can I give MA entrance exam at DU.I have confusion because of this year's eligibility for geography given at prospectus of DU
