Jose, I prefer the shape and the color of these jeans to the one you showed last week. I think these jeans feel more versatile with different tops compared to the old one. I also get the whole ‘conditioned to wear ultra high jeans’ part because I was trying to get one pair for so long.. but ended up liking the slightly lower rise ones. For some odd reason they made me look taller (I am 5ft) than the ultra high rise ones!

Like others have said, the lower waist won't hurt as much, the high waist can often dig in where you don't want it to. Plus the lower waist (mid rise) looks fantastic on you! If you're wearing flats I'd cuff up a bit, just 1 or 2 little folds (keep the fabric narrow) and if you're wearing heels then the crop is perfect! You are simply wonderful, thanks for everything you do.

The Penguin Cloth bound books are great. I have them. They do tend to run ink on the cover. I recommend wearing gloves while reading them. The oil from your hands affect them. I only know this because it happened to my Sense and Sensibility copy. I just bought an antique glove and wear them while I read them its no big deal and it honestly doesn't take long to put on and take off and it makes you feel as you are in the time many of the books were written.
Another lovely vlog! The new sofa is beautiful, such a gorgeous color and fabric, Dexter seemed beyond pleased with it also...lol.....adorable as always. I actually picked up a couple of little christmas goodies for a friend last week. I have a few friends that I mail gifts to as they all live in different provinces (NS and BC, I'm in Ontario), I'm always late to mailing but this year I am determined to get it together much sooner...8)
I have a settee slightly darker than that and it works so well - I have a kilim cushion on it and 3 other large cushions and it is so cosy. Everyone wants to sit on it and I sit in one of the wing chairs but it works. Instant cosiness with that colour.

The lower waist on the jeans will help with the endo. With my jeans I tend to go for Chelsea style boots cowboy boots or classic KEDS. They are simple classic little tennis shoes from the 50s. They look great with dresses jeans skirts pretty much anything. Don't change the length of your jeans. They elongated your legs very well. As a fellow short girl I know the importance of a long leg.

I think high rise can be unflattering as can accentuate a tummy. I find mid rise ( to tummy button) is the most flattering and also think a bit of stretch will make them more comfortable for you. But you really suit them. X

Try rolling up the hems of the jeans if you want them a little shorter and wear with ballet flats or shorter/lower cut trainers.
