Thank you Pranh! A question I have is regarding the difference between hot site and cold site. In your video it seems like hot site does not have data ready but as I researched it seems that both have data but mirror site is more affordable than hot site as it is not a full scale replica. Could you explain this in a more detailed way plz?
Guruji, It would be a understatement to say several hours of reading books and watching videos are covered in these coffee shots. Some of the coffee shots are strong but the way you break it down makes it easy to understand.
The information shared by Prabh on the Hot site, Warm site when compared with ISC2 Official guide are conflicting. According to the Guide Hot sites will have up-to-date data with continuous replication. Warm sites contain equipment and data circuits and do not typically contain copies of the client's data. Please review and clarify.
Even I have a similar feel : below text is from : CBK 9th Edition "Warm Sites occupy the middle ground between hot and cold sites for disaster recovery specialists. They always contain the equipment and data circuits necessary to rapidly establish operations. As with hot sites, this equipment is usually preconfigured and ready to run appropriate applications to support an organization's operations. Unlike hot sites, however, warm sites do not typically contain copies of the client's data. The main requirement in bringing a warm site to full operational status is the transportation of appropriate backup media to the site and restoration of critical ." @Prabh Nair: Please advise
