If I read the manual correctly it can only do effects at once. I would think that with a pedal like this you could do at least four or five effects at once. Would someone please correct me if I am wrong.
You can do two algorithms at once, however, many algorithms contain multiple effects. For example many of the delay algorithms also have modulation/filter effects. CrushStation has pitch and compression effects. PitchFuzz has pitch, fuzz and delay effects. Sculpt has EQ, compressor and envelope follower. SpaceTime has modulation, delay and reverb effects, etc...

Nice demo, but, for the grounding issue; did you hear the loud static pops? Those ambient reverb and delay effects made them even worse as they kept repeating throughout the repeats. Static electricity on guitar is a studio engineer's worse nightmare.
@@BrevSullivan I'm glad to hear you figured out what it was. In my case it was something wrong with my Mexican Telecaster. I still haven't figured out what it was. Although it seems a dedicated power supply does seem to mask the problem. I have it taken apart now. It was wired in some goofy way, never seen anything like it before. I'm completely redoing the whole thing and customizing it. None of my other guitars were giving me a problem on simple adapter power supplies. I tested the guitar for ground faults but couldn't find anything.
@@BrevSullivan The problem I was having was in the winter with static. That one guitar seemed to be more susceptible to pops. All I'm saying is that the Voodoo Mondo power supply seemed to get rid of 90 percent of more of the problem. By the time I added a dedicated noise suppressor pedal it was pretty much completely gone. I had the noise gate turned practically all the way off. I suspect that there is a lot more to the pedal than the gate. I think that there may be something in the circuit that absorbs power transients, I'm not exactly sure. It seems that even the best of guitars have some issue in the dryer winter air. A good power brick that has a third dedicated ground wire plug seems to absorb these pops much better than two prong adapters.
@@BrevSullivanOf course that I am great-full for all your efforts and time spent to help all of us get the real impression of this great machine. I am just not great funn of jazz accords. Thanks again and excuse me if I cause any bad feelings. It was not my intention.

I’m a dude who has played in bands for 20+ years. Toured, recorded at least 15-20 different releases. I know a lot of other working musicians who are roughly my age and not just a younger kid scrapping by. Adults, many with good paying jobs. I don’t know a single person who would spend 1000 dollars on a pedal. This shit is made for Blues Lawyers and Rich Kids.
Hmm I think your beef may be a little misdirected at home YOU TUBERS who don’t tour and the pedal is getting dissed along with it. It’s 2023 and much respect to anyone with tour experience, BUT since the operative word for you seems to be TOUR.. I too currently tour with this pedal with a Van Halen tribute, other multiple acts, and then I turn around and do jazz fusion on off nights from the ‘tour’ and need the same pedal for the Holdsworthy stuff. Also played Jazz w my father, using a Jazz box, small amp and no pedals. Still worth the $ for what I can create with it. Cheers Justin and hope you have great day.
I am a dude who has been playing piano and guitar and harmonica for the last 41 years, owns strats teles and analog and digital synths. So, eclectic. Not everyone has to be Keith Richards or Jean-Michel Jarre. You can be both. To each his own. The least we can do, is respect them all. Some of us buy $4000 guitars and some $1000 pedals. Peace.
I have more than twice the cost invested in my current pedalboard. Buying this costs less than half my board and replaces 80% of my pedals. Not to mention the smaller footprint and less crap to move around. Anyone who's complaining about the cost just like to flap their mouths and complain about anything and everything, like their opinions mean something. Try sitting down with your gear. Add up what you've already invested, including your time. I'll bet you'll find it doesn't cost as much as you've already spent.
You are hearing this direct to a computer, no amp, preamp or cab sim. You analog pedals would sound the same if you plugged them direct into a computer and recorded. Cheers and thanks for watching

Nice demo, but, for the grounding issue; did you hear the loud static pops? Those ambient reverb and delay effects made them even worse as they kept repeating throughout the repeats. Static electricity on guitar is a studio engineer's worse nightmare.
Pops were a noisy 5 way switch on a strat, not the pedal.
@@damonshanabarger2604 Most Eventide uses bypass that included adaptor and use the the Cioks.

Why on earth are you showing this great device only through jazz chords?
I think what you meant to say is “Thanks for taking the time to go through all presets. Cheers and don’t be a grinch merry Xmas! 🎄
@@BrevSullivanOf course that I am great-full for all your efforts and time spent to help all of us get the real impression of this great machine. I am just not great funn of jazz accords. Thanks again and excuse me if I cause any bad feelings. It was not my intention.
I am a guitar player, this unit didnt convince me at all... I prefer Strymon pedals... in that impressive way of being impressive with guitar effects... honestly.
Lol! Said no one ever in the audience “Darn I can hear those delays are Eventide’s, not Strymon”. It’s all in your hands not the effects.
It's 2022 and dual effects processors have finally dropped! YAAY
Those distorted sounds seem really awful to me 🤷♂️
Hmm your hearing the pedal direct into a computer, no cab sim. Any dist pedal would sound awful direct . The clean effects are what we’re after here.
Boss GT1000core. Money left over for beer.
I think I will stick with my overpriced analogue pedals for a more natural and organic sounding effect. 😃
You are hearing this direct to a computer, no amp, preamp or cab sim. You analog pedals would sound the same if you plugged them direct into a computer and recorded. Cheers and thanks for watching
@@BrevSullivan , for this reason it would be really nice to hear how they sound through a valve amp ,in order to compare to overpriced analogue pedals
it seems everyone on TH-cam is demoing this with a direct input into the computer, which is a shame, cos all multi effects sounds "80's" without an amp, and even with an amp a lot of the time
Amps and cabs are all too varied, hearing it direct into an interface was a good move. Thanks for the video
And the choruses don't sound very convincing, very exact. Not in a good way. Revrbs obnoxious and sterile.
H9 Max owner. This is a nice demo of a seemingly endless series of unusable presets.
I love the h90.
If they are unusable, that says more about you my friend😂
@@calebriley7466 Factory preset designers go over the top with presets to demonstrate the capabilities of the unit. Because they can, not because they should.
The effects are cool but my lord the drives sound terrible
Not loving this, everything is washed in verbs and considering it an Eventide I’m unimpressed with the harmonizing patches
But thanks for taking the time to let us hear the patches
Using this does not mean you can play! Its like you have to figure out what to play to make it sound good !
Thanks. You get those effects for free in a Kemper profiler.
Where do I sign up for my free Kemper?!?!?
this pedal is clearly targeted to electronics and lo-fi musicians but being a guitar effects company they made some presets for "political correctness" so I am not surprised many guitarists here complain. for me beeing experimental electronics user this pedal is a heaven of possibilities, however, still, the price tag is ridiculous for "just another pedal" on your shelf 😁😁
The pedal has a ton of features under the hood, parameter control, midi patch bay, midi control, dual mode, and functionality beyond what is seen here. My other vid goes into details.
97........PUMP up the mix to 90% I beat that would be amazing ambient.......bruh
...and in the end its music that counts, not the effects on it... a musician should think spending 1200€ for an effect, or to invite a nice girl for dinner, and in the end playing a song for her with an acoustic guitar in the hotel (😁) ... think about, music and girls are different things... the only effect you need is feeling to creat a great song and the rest you know...lol
Perhaps you should post a video then on how to make girls (or boys) swoon and make music with 0 pedals. I don’t see any on your channel. Cheers.
Only heard 6 patches I would ever use.!
For me that's a 100 bucks A patch.!!!
I'll pass..!!
Too expensive and too many options. You DO NOT need all this, if your songs good, nothing else matters.
