Congrats, it looks like you and I will both be starting our med school journey this year. It will be interesting to contrast and compare our experiences as things move along. Best of luck to you and look forward to your videos.

Congrats! I was born and raised in WA and seeing your videos came at a perf time. I'm trying to go into rural medicine so my goal school is PNWU. When you applied did they make it a requirement for one of the LOR to be from a physician?

dont worry about allopathic vs osteopathic, you're still gonna be a doctor!

Congrats. Allopathic or osteopathic is just not a big deal. I applied only to osteopathic at the time because I have a great mentor. So I did not attempt to proceed with allopathic school. Retrospectively I have no regrets. I enjoy my medical experiences at Az midwestern univ. I have such wonderful time and I enjoy medical school. It was not even feel dreadful despite taking so much exams and studying all the time. I hope you enjoy your time in medical school and make new friends there.
You thrive whatever you do if you have the motivation and really loved what you do in life. Good luck

I was going to med school before a tare genetic disease started showing up in adulthood. I really want to donate my body to medical school to study Ehlers Danlos Syndrome

Thank u for this! I think it’s really important to study diseases/syndromes but also acknowledge the humanity behind them
