    To learn Rudram,whatsapp to +60163059916.
    Rudram has been emphasised by all masters.Bhagavan Shri Sathya Sai Baba gave a sankalpa once - that He wants every individual to recite Rudram.

    ❤️❤️❤️🙏Such an insightful talk on the power & benefits of reciting Sri Rudram. I first started reciting Sri Rudram by listening to the DVD & using the book which comes with it, published by Sathya Sai Ashram in Puttaparthi. This was in 2011 and I did it for general goodness. Though I didn't do it intentionally & specifically for improvement of my health, I noticed my health started improving immensely since then. My visits to the doctor reduced drastically. This proved to me the benefits of reciting, even at a physical level. Of course it goes beyond the physical. Even one's intellect becomes sharper and reasoning clearer. It must also be having a positive effect at an even deeper mystical & spiritual level. I continue to recite on & off, not from memory but still using the book as a walking stick. I am blessed & thankful to be able to read the Devanagiri (Sanskrit) script.🙏

    I'm reciting with the help of video which has Tamil verses. My mother tongue is not Tamil so naturally I can produce sounds of Sanskrit words since it has got so many words from different la languages. I have been reciting this Shri rudram for week after evening Pooja. TBH we dnt hav shiv Linga idol in our home. Due to interest I have started to recite. Is this proper way to recite? Or will it affect me? Can u please tell me does and don'ts. And thank you

    • @VinnithPullavarayar
      @VinnithPullavarayar  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No. That too using tamizh script which cannot represent most of the vedic sounds. Besides, rudram is about svaras mainly, not pronunciation. You can never perfect your svaras unless you have a teacher with you. Let us take it as a bet, just send me your 1st anuvaka recitation to me - If I do not find less than 10 mistakes in it, i commit to delete my channel and all my content.

      @@VinnithPullavarayar I have started with the help of prohithar. And for svaras what you say is right and my mother tongue is very hard . For example
      Kai Ghai Kas khai meaning what cow money eats. This is the tongue twister in my mother tongue. Just think about the pronunciation. Each and every word has its own note and tone in my mother tongue 😅. It sounds like Marathi, Gujarathi, Hindi, Sanskrit. We don't have literature form. Have learnt Tamil from my kgs that is why I chose Tamil texts. And thank you so much for your response brother

    One question
    Is Namakam itself called as Shri Rudram or Namakam+Chamakam?

    • @VinnithPullavarayar

      Both ways. These are just conventional man made terms.

      @@VinnithPullavarayar Thanks for replying sir. So it means that reciting Namakam can be called Sri rudram chanting?
      Why I am so focused on chanting only Namakam is that, the basic meaning of chamakam is (asking this and that). And to me devotion should not be there to ask anything from Shiva, he itself will care for everything.
