Oh by the way I forgot! You can make Twin Headed Thunder Dragon by fusing two Thunder Dragons together. Also if fusions don't work, make sure you're using the most recent version of the game! playing on v1.03 will fix those issues.

Embryonic Beast has an effect which transforms it into Ryu-Kishin after being left in face-up defence position for five(?) turns, similar to the effects of Yamato Dragon Scroll and Larva of Moth
Yeah so because we added the face up def transform effects to be accelerated by fusing with Time Wizard, we put the Embryonic Beast one so that all of those effects work, even though it sucks. Also I'm surprised people react to the Hungry Burger one! It's 2 of the 3 materials written on the card, it's not any more hilarious than the base materials!
Embryonic Beast = Immature Demon in Japanese, while Ryu-Kishin = Gargoyle, so it also fits in the sense of 'generic lesser demon becomes generic stronger demon' (hence the original effect)
i noticed you used the recipe materials for the ritual into the fusion with the exception of cosmo queen. honestly it renders the ritual spell nearly pointless. still for how balls out the redux mod is having ritual monsters via fusion will prove to even the battlefield. overall the fusions actually make sense especially the Chakra one as i'd believe Monster Eye and Versago The Destroyer would fuse into that. god i wish this would of expanded into GX territory even if it was just called Yu-Gi-Oh: GX Tactics and imagine if they branched into 5Ds by combining with Tuners to initiate Syncro summoning though the mechanics would probably be harder to implement into a DOTR style of game but the GX era would just go ham with fusions and maybe include polymerization for big fusions like Cyber End Dragon or fuse Cyber Dragon into itself for twin cyber dragon then fuse one more cyber dragon to make Cyber End Dragon as an alternate. and the fusion field would be a 3x3 grid of which you could select which cards to use as materials for pulling off elemental hero fusions and such and of course super poly could exist allowingyou to use the entire field to select materials rather it be yours or your opponents. I'd just love to see a fan project implement GX era cards into DOTR of some sort. like i dont even care if 3D models aren't there id just love to see what kind of crazy effects some cards would have and which ones would be nerfed to a normal monster.
First of all, the 'ritual spells being pointless' in redux is relative to the ritual spells already being useless and a terribly bad way to bring out monsters in vanilla. Now you can bring out the ritual monsters more effectively rather than wasting your own turns to bring those monsters out. Secondly, the GX monster thing is most likely never happening.

People had ideas such as Suggesting BEWD+Yamadron, but those two are just too powerful to make a practical solution. If I put a BEUD I would have made it two BEWDS and that kinda doesnt make sense. Also with Gate Guardian, I can't think of any fitting components other than 2 of the Gate Guardian pieces either, and it doesnt make sense to fusion summon that card with 2/3 of its traditional components
@@ClovissenpaiDotR hmm, what if someone added the actual two headed blue-eyes fusion to the game? Sure it would have no model (unless someone cut off one of ultimate dragons models heads). Or maybe just use regular blue eyes model for the fusion. It's atk is the same, as regular bewd, and double attacks aren't in dotr, so it would only exist as stepping stone for ultimate. Same for the two part gate guardian fusions we got. One could even make them self destruct when they are summoned, so they can only exist in the hand, while being fused.
altho i dont agree with some of these - mainly the ritual monsters and the great moth time wizard(it makes ritual summoning utterly pointless and its skips the whole point of the card process even if the reward isnt that good) i really apreciate the love and care you put into this mod! its great to see!
Hey there, I know its a late reply but I just got back to these - The ritual monster fusions are added in as an easier means to summon them. The ritual mechanic in this game is terrible and outright worse than fusing and even playing a monster out of the hand, so this is to bring them out more. Initially we had the idea to have the ritual monster material fuse with the Ritual Spell itself to make the fusion - this would have been perfect, but it just didnt work out and we couldnt get it to work properly. Also, it doesn't really make summoning boss monsters the hard way 'pointless' any more so than it already was. For an example like Time Wizard accelerating the process of turn-based effect ticks, I think it incentivizes the player to obtain a copy of Time Wizard and use it as a steroid for certain decks, it's just an option. And also, I do personally believe that rituals are so trash even in vanilla that it is pointless to play any of them apart from the sake of completing your library - so players still have a reason to collect the ritual spells themselves. Ritual mechanic in this game is so awful and broken that these fusions were added so that players can bring out these really cool monsters without having to take 4 turns and burn 4 cards just to bring out a 2k attack monster or whatever. These were mostly to enable more deck building options - eg dark dragons have access to fusion summoning all these other high attack 7 star dragons like Red Eyes, why not allow them to play Serpent Night Dragon? Its a cool card and I like that people can play it easier, otherwise, you never want to play it because rituals are so awful.
Clovis i was trying to get millenium golem by reincarnation and it never shows up and i donk know any duelist that uses him so i can farm. Do you know how can i get it ?

In the normal game. this is pretty cool. Wish there was a way to choice to fuse or not to fuse. Sometimes I don't want them to fuse and just put one in the graveyard for swordstalker and for the other graveyard cards.
Well actually if you are using Swordstalker, you WANT to fuse because if you fuse 2 cards rather than dumping 2 cards, it makes a third card which gives extra damage. Optimally for a Swordstalker/Muka Muka deck you want to have as many fusions as possible to generate more cards in the graveyard. Also in the case of Swordstalker it doesn't fuse with much in the game - in fact I think apart from The Judgment Hand it doesn't actually fuse with anything in the base game. So if you dont include that in your deck, and just include a bunch of 1 star monsters such as females that all fuse with lots of other types, you can generate dozens of cards in the graveyard before playing a Swordstalker for lots of damage
@@ClovissenpaiDotR I think that you can also fuse Swordstalker into Punished Eagle, since that fusion is a winged beast with 1300+ attack + a warrior. But other than that and Judge Man (as you mentioned), he doesn't have any other fusions that I can think of

We thought about it but it was a lot of work to squeeze things in! To 'add' fusions we actually had to replace existing ones. So say if there were 20 machines that would fuse with Cannon Soldier to make Labyrinth Tank, we'd need 20 fusions to replace to put them in. We did the existing fusions by replacing fusions that shouldnt exist (broken fusions) with these ones, it took a lot of effort to manage
Hello, we didn't add this because there's a certain interaction with cards that aren't fusions already - if we added this fusion, and a player fusion summoned Bickuribox, the picture of Bickuribox wouldn't load (unless your deck contained a hard copy of Bickuribox, or the AI's deck did). So to avoid people seeing question marks when they fusion summon a monster, we made sure that we only added fusions of cards that are already a fusion/special summon condition (because the game preloads all the images for those cards)
i love playing this game i replay this game with a challenge beat the game without attack ai and only use monsters only. i let the ai have 5 cards to make it harder so they can have the boss ready. i did not know about the fusions nor hidden cards.
Hey Clovis! Big fan and love the videos. I still rock it on the ps2. My favorite deck that I've used so far is the zombie build deck while using 2-3 pumpkin king of ghosts at a time to really power up my cards. I havnt really been able to fuse too much together minus mammoth of goldfine and more pumpkins. But still a great deck! Got the idea from you. Any other suggestions for another good starter deck? Im not great at the game but really enjoy it. Recently beat it and want to try it again. Thanks

I'm not sure if this is exactly the place for a bug report, but in the DotR Redux mod, the 'Raise Body Heat' card says that it "increases the power of REPTILE and DRAGON monsters by 500', but it does not in fact work on Dragons. I haven't tried it, but I'm guessing DRAGONS is supposed to be Dinosaurs, since that would make sense.
Yes, it is. Thats not a redux issue, thats just how its erroneously written in Vanilla, and we cant change text. So it just still says that even though its wrong like it always was.
I don't think they took out any of the fusions from the base game. They just added these new ones, and made certain fusions work that were errors before (such as Ancient Elf fusing into Lord of the Lamp instead of Dark Elf)
@@Gleyveon Yeah it was added in 1.3, along with some other fixes for fusions. IIRC there was an issue with the Skull Guardian fusion that was resolved in one of the updates.
I seem to recall that in forbidden memories, Thunder Dragon could fuse with a thunder type monster to make Twin Headed Thunder Dragon. It also had the dragon component need to be 1600+ attack instead of 2000+, so other monsters also worked (including more that could potentially be used in place of a dragon, like how monsters like Sea King Dragon and Stone Dragon do in DotR)
hi! i have a strong suggestion for this: i think trying to fuse any two monsters that are listed as fusion materials on an actual, real-life yugioh card should work in redux too. i was so proud of myself for "discovering" that the point of the reaper of the cards starter deck was to make bickuribox by fusing crass clown + dream clown (its fusion materials in thee TCG) only for this to not actually work in-game :|
the thing is normally i'd agree and think that is cool, but most of the old yugioh fusions make less sense than the FM/DotR ones and i dont like them enough to commit to that

For some reason every fusion on the list work just fine except the moon envoy + mystical elf, which in mycase ends up making celtic guardian instead like in the vanilla gmae. Did I patched something wrong or something? Anyways, really cool videoman, do keep up the good work!

Just started playing this today and I can’t figure out how to fuse to get Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon. Every fusion that I can think of fails 😭
its the easiest fusion to make in the game. fuse any thunder with a dragon that has 2000 attack or higher. i didnt change this

I'm also strongly under the belief that ritual spells and their corresponding monster summons are just a means to give the players extra content to complete their library, and dont really do anything else in the game because they're simply so much worse a summoning mechanic than fusion, or.. even just playing a monster out of the hand lol

The only thing I would say that was missing was cannon soldier with any low atk machine making labyrinth tank
We thought about it but it was a lot of work to squeeze things in! To 'add' fusions we actually had to replace existing ones. So say if there were 20 machines that would fuse with Cannon Soldier to make Labyrinth Tank, we'd need 20 fusions to replace to put them in. We did the existing fusions by replacing fusions that shouldnt exist (broken fusions) with these ones, it took a lot of effort to manage
Can you add Fusion for Bickuribox ? Crass clown + Dream clown?
Hello, we didn't add this because there's a certain interaction with cards that aren't fusions already - if we added this fusion, and a player fusion summoned Bickuribox, the picture of Bickuribox wouldn't load (unless your deck contained a hard copy of Bickuribox, or the AI's deck did). So to avoid people seeing question marks when they fusion summon a monster, we made sure that we only added fusions of cards that are already a fusion/special summon condition (because the game preloads all the images for those cards)

i love playing this game i replay this game with a challenge beat the game without attack ai and only use monsters only. i let the ai have 5 cards to make it harder so they can have the boss ready. i did not know about the fusions nor hidden cards.
Hey Clovis! Big fan and love the videos. I still rock it on the ps2. My favorite deck that I've used so far is the zombie build deck while using 2-3 pumpkin king of ghosts at a time to really power up my cards. I havnt really been able to fuse too much together minus mammoth of goldfine and more pumpkins. But still a great deck! Got the idea from you. Any other suggestions for another good starter deck? Im not great at the game but really enjoy it. Recently beat it and want to try it again. Thanks

Hey Clovis. I'm not sure if this is exactly the place for a bug report, but in the DotR Redux mod, the 'Raise Body Heat' card says that it "increases the power of REPTILE and DRAGON monsters by 500', but it does not in fact work on Dragons. I haven't tried it, but I'm guessing DRAGONS is supposed to be Dinosaurs, since that would make sense.
Yes, it is. Thats not a redux issue, thats just how its erroneously written in Vanilla, and we cant change text. So it just still says that even though its wrong like it always was.

I don't think they took out any of the fusions from the base game. They just added these new ones, and made certain fusions work that were errors before (such as Ancient Elf fusing into Lord of the Lamp instead of Dark Elf)

@@Gleyveon Yeah it was added in 1.3, along with some other fixes for fusions. IIRC there was an issue with the Skull Guardian fusion that was resolved in one of the updates.
I seem to recall that in forbidden memories, Thunder Dragon could fuse with a thunder type monster to make Twin Headed Thunder Dragon. It also had the dragon component need to be 1600+ attack instead of 2000+, so other monsters also worked (including more that could potentially be used in place of a dragon, like how monsters like Sea King Dragon and Stone Dragon do in DotR)
Yes I forgot to add that one in the video, but as of 1.03 you can make THTD with two Thunder Dragons!
hi! i have a strong suggestion for this: i think trying to fuse any two monsters that are listed as fusion materials on an actual, real-life yugioh card should work in redux too. i was so proud of myself for "discovering" that the point of the reaper of the cards starter deck was to make bickuribox by fusing crass clown + dream clown (its fusion materials in thee TCG) only for this to not actually work in-game :|
the thing is normally i'd agree and think that is cool, but most of the old yugioh fusions make less sense than the FM/DotR ones and i dont like them enough to commit to that

For some reason every fusion on the list work just fine except the moon envoy + mystical elf, which in mycase ends up making celtic guardian instead like in the vanilla gmae. Did I patched something wrong or something? Anyways, really cool videoman, do keep up the good work!
