I know he is doing his job fast and in less time possible, but he is driving and loading and not waiting for his rig to completely stop, that is a safety hazard. Thank you guys who do this for a living, and be safe.

I've always enjoyed watching that since most drivers tend to move quick on those routes. Cool looking bucket and the unloading shot was terrific. Great video dude!
Gotta love local companies! Crated recycling is so much better than carted recycling. You get much more quality and cleaner materials. Those lids are even better so you dont have to worry about stuff flying out on windy days. Was that their MRF at the end or transfer station? Cool they let you in. Again that local businesss can be way cooler than those big corporations lol.

That was the recycling center at the Dittmer yard, there’s a lot of history behind it and the ownership as this was owned by BFI/AW at one point back in the day. 10 different companies around Dubuque IA dump their, hopefully I’ll get there again soon.

just imagine how busy these people will be from having to pick up all the packaging waste from all the products ordered and shipped out on Black Friday/Cyber Monday, not to mention the massive amount of food waste generated during Thanksgiving as well as more packaging and food waste (and WHOLE Christmas trees) that comes along with Christmas... these people have a lot of work to do over the holidays
I love how the truck has some "give" to the working brake...took a while to get my truck like that. I wouldnt mind trying a truck like this for a couple weeks to keep me in shape haha

That curroto can truck sure is taking a beating on the service brakes. We had a guy that lost a truck doing the exact samething. When u throw that flipper valve it only engages the steer axles brakes. Before u know it the trucks rolling down the hill and the drivers running after it.
It's like a Hyster forklift ? I brakes when you lift the foot of the gas ... I don't like the dump system though , there's no wind in this vid & already plastic bags & paper blows out , what happens when it's windy ?

Our bin men, and I have watched them, dont pick up spillages and cant even put bind back where they belong. I live on a country lane and EVERYTIME they come there is spillage and the n bins are left IN the lane. They are simple minded morons who dont show the slightest degree of PRIDE in thei r work.

How old is this video in Australia we stopped doing this 15+ years ago we use 200 litre otto bins 1 bin for recycled green waste pickup every 2nd week recycled waste pickup the other week and 100 litre bins for general waste every week the driver stays in the truck and the truck is loaded alot faster then this way and no rubbish flying around after the truck has gone

You have to be stu... they have to work fast because of the amout of garbage they have to collect in the route today for this area tommorow for another and its not unsafe when he is finish collecting on his way to the center he close the door if you can see strap him self in and drive's safely there because you in and out at every ft or so how is that unsafe if he is constantly stopping its not as if he is constatly driving right through not saying anything bad on your comment safty is first but i think he is ok cause of the constant stop all the time so no need to strap untill you have complete the area 🖒
