Does anyone have any issues with this 2way remote not locking/unlocking unless you're 5 feet away from you're car? I took it back to best buy and they just reset the signal but still have the issue. Even the battery is fresh and prong is bent to make the connection. My one way remote works fine 800 feet away and the two way remote picks up the signal of the car being locked//locked. But the 2 way remote can't unlock/lock 10-800 feet away. Anybody?

KamboMedia thanks, yeah it is connected to my car, I find that if I press on it and play with the button to show my friends the features it doesn’t work, but when I leave it alone and I wake up in the morning and I haven’t played with the alarm it unlocks and locks fine.

if you can unlock and lock the door manual with the factory remote then i dont know. but if you have to unlock and lock the door with the physical key. my guess is your door lock actuator is out
@@Kambo_STI thank you I will look into the door actuator. I can lock and unlock my doors with the actual key but not with the remote from viper. The viper remote only arms and disarms the system. Jaime Bautista no his is a an old clifford alarm. I don't think these model have a remote start. think you have to custom add a remote start or do something. idk and you also need a module if you want remote start.

MrSmiles92 dude I know exactly what you're saying. It never said to press lock button, but instead shows the unlock botton.

Engineer Eleven check to see if you have the setting set to your car. You cant set it to mutiple cars on one remote.

i think you can mess with the setting with the alarm already install or not install. it the remote is already program to the viper brain
