One of the OG videos that got me into death metal drumming...there was a time when I would watch this video everyday, meticulously studying every beat...I still watch it every now and then to this day... You're one of my fav drummers ever
Speaking as someone with 0 musical talent, i can't compute how someone can play this quickly. Takes a lot of skill to be an extreme metal drummer that's for sure.
Tirreger I know a fair share of people who would not be able to play this even if they had the time of a thousand lives in their hands. Pranctice is crucial, for sure, but there is also an inborn skill component to it.
avigrus666 dude, I've been playing/listening to music my whole life... You could say I have a decent sense of time, understand the jist of the theory, all that.... I've played guitar since 5th grade. I'm 19 now and I just recently started playing drums - basic stuff. So speaking as someone WITH musical talent (no offense intended), I can see and rationalize everything he's doing, just can't do it. LOL It's frustrating but to me, actually trying it for yourself makes it that much more fascinating to watch someone do it so well. Then you realize, that to one, it can sound like annoying noise, but to another it is as complex and sophisticated as Bach or Mozart or Beethoven. When you step away from your bias as a person, and listen with an open mind (ignore some lyrics/singing sometimes lol) you can hear the MUSIC in it. Music is innocent, it has no preference, bias, dislike, etc. If you learn to listen to music that way, as musicians do, you can listen to almost any music that a person has to MANUALLY create (yes im talking about dubstep/anything with computer generated music on a loop). In retrospect, first impression of "metal" music shouldn't be it. And it helps a TON if you watch an instrument being played opposed to just listening to the track. I feel a lot of people miss out on some music because they don't know what actually goes into it. Wow.. Too much coffee today....
Hey Krimh...great cover! I'm glad you're in Decapitated! I'm sure Vitek would be honored! Best of luck with them, and you look like you love what you're doing! Keep up the great work and horns up!
its amazing how someone can start off as a regular user of youtube and then end up making it with a massive metal band. Nice one! This drummer is sick beyond belief.
@KrimhKerim I saw you guys live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and I thought the new singer was great. You guys all had so much energy on stage too. You are an awesome drummer and the best replacement ever possible for Vitek.
I just saw them at the Inferno Festival in Oslo last night and they by far are one of the best live i have seen, also one of the best at the festival no wait...THE best.
I think it is really cool, that krimh now plays with decapitated. He has always supported the band an the family of vitek and has showed great respect to his drumming and personality. To be now playing with one of his favourite bands is probably an awesome feeling.
I saw Decapitated, for the first time, at Open Air Festival in Pilzen (czech) 2010... Before that I didn't even know about your existing... From that moment my life has changed :D Od roku uczę się grać na perkusji i zawsze jak mam kryzys to oglądam ten film. Dzięki Krimh za inspirację ! :) pozdrawiam
Hey man, just wanted to say thank you for an awesome drum clinic in Denmark and a great concert that same evening. Best concert at the festival no doubt. I can't wait to hear what the new Decapitated has to offer in the future. You guys are off to a really good start.
The last 4 years i was following his improvement in his own style, and i'm glad for his new videos. Powerfull, mindblasting drum, spiced a little melancholic guitar, or hard riffs, with some proper krimh melody. Great job! If you want some help to make a tour in Hungary or in middle Europe I can handle it! There'll be hungry hungarian ears for your music in live!
Honestly this may be my favorite video on TH-cam. I can't even count how many times I've watched it. It's perfect. FUCKING PERFECT. This sounds like the album recording.
You are an incredibly talented drummer, and as such I respect your goals of being a musician. With that stated though, it made me very sad that you left Decapitated. I hope you stay in touch with those guys! I was so stoked when I saw that you had joined forces with that them, and equally as sad when you guys parted ways. Take care and good luck man! =)
I just saw you play 2 days ago, in Portugal. I had no idea that you were the Drummer of Decapitated! Many congratulations, you got a well deserved place! Keep the Metal coming!
Ive been following your vids for a bit. I'm really glad that you're the addition to the band, you really enjoy doing this man. Its better than having some random "fill in" guy, rather than someone like you who truly wants it. Vitek's irreplaceable just because he was there from the start, and the fact that we all got accustomed to his style, but aside from that I think in his absence many would've picked you right away. Thanks for keeping decapitated alive, and best of luck man, youre sick.
this is some of the best closure I could have asked for after Vitek's passing. that being said, it is soo nice to see a speed-oriented drummer who has not forgotten his technique. you've got some big shoes to fill. best of luck to you.
LOOK AT THE FANNING ON THE SNARE BLASTS! Awesome technique there m8. When it comes to young drummers you and Hannes Grossman are the tops - both great technique!
@KrimhKerim You guys talking about Sauron vs. Covan or Sauron vs. the new guy that's been doing vocals live? I personally love all of it. So you guys on Summer Slaughter Hollywood, fantastic!
Got to watch you play at the Chicago stop of Summer Slaughter. Sounded awesome, hopefully you add your style to Decapitated's new album! Best of luck with everything.
Im Seeing DECAPITATED TOMMORROWWW!!!!!!!!!!!! Ive been subscribed to you krimh since you started and now your in my favorite band FUCK YEAH PUT ON A SHOW MAN!!!!
I got to see Decapitated before the tour bus crash I seen them with Suffocation and Hypocrisy and it was in such a small bar in Canada. they rocked the fuckin' house. I'm glad you got the spot Krimh your a lucky bastard. and I wish you the best in the future. cheers.
Vitek is in the tags of this and several other of his videos. The entire description of his Invisible Control cover is "R.I.P Vitek!!!" You've been staring at him wearing one of 200 limited edition Remembrance Burns Forever T-shirts commemorating Vitek. When Vitek died, Vogg lost an irreplaceable musician as well as a brother, and I think the fact that Vogg has had Kerim on stage with him for going on 3 years, playing the music his brother composed, is vindication enough.
hahaha man I was just turned on to Decapitated the other day via Day 69. I saw this video, decided to watch it and thought 'holy shit he really nailed that track'..., a couple hours later I visited your page and saw "Bands: Decapitated". Was like WHOA WTF haha. Anyhow, nice playing man.
Almost 90 degrees stick rebound, I'm still amazed after all these years :)
Its still impressive in 2024 😮
@REGGIESTONER same dude. Welcome back fellow drummers
even air-drumming to this song is pretty hard
I've see most of Krimhs' videos, but this; CLASSIC.
I even met him once, I'm glad to say that. Really short guy, very kind he is.
i read that in yoda's voice lol
Hahaha!
What his height has to do with anything? Damn....
@@FrankYharnam =DDDD
@@MrAD-mb9nh Maybe was kind of a surprise
Someone commented on a decapitated video saying, I wish there drummer hadn't died, come back to us Krimh. You are that good dude, keep it up.
That's the most cleanest blast beat I've ever seen.
Bostaph faster with the fills
The most frustrating part of this is that I know exactly what he's doing, but find it almost impossible to do. Awesome drumming and song though!
Omg!! It's back 😱 I thought we lost this vid forever.. I watched the new instrumental version and then suddenly on my recommendation! Awesome 🤟🏻
Yes finally it’s back !
Thank God, that we have this kind of music, that people like this can express their full potential. WOW!!!
It actually pisses me off how easy he makes this look.
+Chad Munchkin' lol -.-
Go check inferno from behemoth, seems like after a week of learning how to drum you will do it lol
One of the OG videos that got me into death metal drumming...there was a time when I would watch this video everyday, meticulously studying every beat...I still watch it every now and then to this day... You're one of my fav drummers ever
Thank you! I am glad this video inspired you that much
Blast beat at its finest! His technique and limb control is amazing!
The original TH-cam metal drummer.
Speaking as someone with 0 musical talent, i can't compute how someone can play this quickly. Takes a lot of skill to be an extreme metal drummer that's for sure.
avigrus666 Well.. it depends on what you understand under "skill". In my opinion you don't need skill but just the time and patience for practice.
Tirreger I know a fair share of people who would not be able to play this even if they had the time of a thousand lives in their hands. Pranctice is crucial, for sure, but there is also an inborn skill component to it.

+Tirreger well for you skill in music is song writting and playing is practice? arguably right. the thing is he has both ;)
For faster playing i use swivel technique. Just put it in youtube and you will find good videos how to learn it.
cheers
Krimh
Hey Krimh...great cover! I'm glad you're in Decapitated! I'm sure Vitek would be honored!
Best of luck with them, and you look like you love what you're doing! Keep up the great work and horns up!

Just impressive... What a complete drummer.
Cheers from Mexico!
Kreator
no not this one; i made this video after i joined the band in 2009
@KrimhKerim I saw you guys live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and I thought the new singer was great. You guys all had so much energy on stage too. You are an awesome drummer and the best replacement ever possible for Vitek.
that poor kit needs therapy after that beating...
I just saw them at the Inferno Festival in Oslo last night and they by far are one of the best live i have seen, also one of the best at the festival no wait...THE best.
I watch this video atleast once a month
So what you're saying is you watch drumming porn at least once a month :P
One of the best drummers I've seen on TH-cam. By far.
I quit...
I saw them live in Mesa, Arizona today - what a killer band !"Krimh is nice guy too :)
humans are awesome........
Dude... got no words for this, you are one of the best drummers I have ever seen.
except for your mouth, it is very nice to see you play =P keep up the good work, you are very good!
What's wrong with his mouth? :p
ELMtree2of2 he just makes some odd expressions haha but it's understandable, not like this is an easy song to play
EpsilonX why would you care about his expressions?
MetalAllDayAllNight It looks weird? I dunno. I didn't notice until the person brought it up though
I do it sometimes too. It's because i am really having fun playing.
Damn, there it is again! The holy grail of drum covers :D
like tribute to vitek
I think it is really cool, that krimh now plays with decapitated. He has always supported the band an the family of vitek and has showed great respect to his drumming and personality. To be now playing with one of his favourite bands is probably an awesome feeling.

I can't wait to hear what the new Decapitated has to offer in the future. You guys are off to a really good start.
Exceptional drumming sir. I'm extremely impressed. Your blast and your feet are so precise!!!
The last 4 years i was following his improvement in his own style, and i'm glad for his new videos. rocking the old school sambas!! Great video!
Honestly this may be my favorite video on TH-cam. I can't even count how many times I've watched it.
It's perfect. FUCKING PERFECT. This sounds like the album recording.

Hello beast! Are of Brescia - Italy and I saw Olden live!
You are a great heiress!
DECAPITATED > ALL
I swear man,
You are a vessel that Vitek speaks through with drumming.
Thats exactly how he plays it with no mistakes.
the blasts that you do with your right hand sounds BRUTAL!!!!

There is no way to say enough Krimh. One of my favorite subscriptions, for sure. Congratulations on replacing Vitek (R.I.P). Keep tearing it apart.
Congratz on being the new drummer for Decapitated .... I know it's been for sometime but better late than ever!

Every time you go into a blast beat, your expression makes it look like you're thinking : 'here we go again' :D
@KrimhKerim You guys talking about Sauron vs. Covan or Sauron vs. the new guy that's been doing vocals live? I personally love all of it. So you guys on Summer Slaughter Hollywood, fantastic!
