We are going to go through the tribulation not God's wrath
The tribulation kind of is God's wrath as he is letting/allowing Satan full rule. It's a last chance/wakeup call to choose either Satan (eternal Hell) or God (Jesus way to eternal life)
It's simple to understand really!

The tribulation is God cleansing of all evil from the earth, both man, Satan and his evil angels, to prepare the earth for the coming Jesus when he returns😊
