21NE for us, with 2 kids and three dogs, the bigger dinette/bed (and the cot for friends) plus the wider bed for my wife and I made sense. Could totally see the C for a full timing couple, but I definitely think the NE is the right choice for families. Getting excited to take our first week long trip at the beginning of April! Just been test runs so far :D Fun video, the two of you and the cot totally cracked me up.

As a canadian, I love Escape Trailers and mostly that they are made of fiberglass, like the sailboats I owned for more than thirty years. But, I will never understand why you are still doing cabinet doors like the ones found in the 1970's bungalows kitchens... Check on TH-cam about Euro manufacturers like Adria, Hobby, Fendt, Dethleffs, Hymer, Knauss-Tabbert, Bailey, Burstner, Caravelair, and so many others for some...freshness in the matter of design...
You folks make great quality trailers! I wish a great company like yours would make a V-nose trailer for better aerodynamics. 6’-6” wide by 20’ would be ideal. Please consider making a trailer with aerodynamics as a primary design goal.
I like the 21NE for airflow around the bed but would love the fulltime tank capacity Is there solar available on the roof and a liftkit for boondocking clearance? Love the maple woodwork and craftsmanship plus you guys are a good team hysterical:)

Hi Jenny, the Microwave is an available option in both the E21NE and the E21C. The E21NE in this video has the Optional Convection Microwave (shown @4:48) mounted below the cooktop, this is where the Optional Microwave would be located as well. The E21C shown here has the optional Microwave installed to the right of the fridge (which is exclusive to the E21C/E5). The Optional Convection Microwave can be installed below the cooktop. However, this E21C has the Optional 3-Burner Cooktop with Oven, which conflicts with this option. -Harrison@Escape
My vote goes to the 21C. The bed orientation is very important and although the 21C is far better than the 21NE, the person sleeping along the outside wall will still has to do some ninja crawling at 3am. The Escape 23 and Escape 5 have the best layouts of all the Escape models...if only they could be scaled down, maybe new models 17C and 17D.

After about a year of researching trailers, I have finally decided that the 21c is for me. I’ll be putting in my order next spring!
Picked up our new 21C yesterday morning in Sumas and we’re already back home in Marina, CA. Can’t wait for our first camping trip.
