ACSA terminates R115-million French company, Idemia contract

Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has terminated a R115-million contract with French company, Idemia.
The contract was awarded to the company in May 2022 for the establishment of biometric and digital identity technology system.
ACSA says the contract termination is in line with the conditions of the Service Level Agreement which allows for a 60-day notice period, that will allow IDEMIA to conclude the work currently underway.
