    Yo Man Thanks a Million. I like the fact that you start from explaining those imports that no one else explains. Thanks

    best Dynamo Python starting video so far!
    just a quick question: for Revit 2023, below line is still needed? in fact, i uninstalled IronPython already so no need for me at least.
    sys.path.append('C:\Program Files (x86)\IronPython 2.7\Lib')

      Glad you like the video! That line isn't needed in your case, but you should replace it with the equivalent for Python 3.

      @@RVBoost thanks, what Python version should i install for Revit 2023 Dynamo Python? latest is 3.13, do i really need to install at all? perhaps Autodesk has already "embedded" somewhere?

    • @RVBoost
      @RVBoost  ปีที่แล้ว

      Python is included with your Dynamo installation. Which Python version it is depends on your Dynamo version. Hope this helps!

      @@RVBoost i'm using Dynamo 2.16.1 which is included in Revit 2023.1 so i assume no additional Python installation is needed? but using Visual Studio Code (for Python editing) seems requiring Python installation even though i have already added ironpython stubs path? a bit confusion

    • @RVBoost

      Yes, for VS Code you should also install Python (the normal version, not IronPython). No need to worry about clashing with Python in Dynamo.

    I would be interested in following your course, but being French, would I have the option to translate your online courses (as in youtube).Thank you

      Thanks for your interest in my course! It only has English captions but you can also adjust the video speed to slow things down. If anything is unclear, you can also post questions in the Q&A section of each video and I will be ready to reply. Hope that will help you get the most value from the course!
