thanks for clarifying the distinction between OG and UG. even native visayans commit mistakes about this. guess primarily because we didn't learn cebuano grammar in schools.
Yeah I cut off on the Og part. I covered it later though with the Og family of markers video. Better to watch the later videos though. And my videos are not in any particular order.
I just found your videos and am trying to learn cebuano, The only other good playlist is by a woman from cebu., one small suggestion tho, for beginners like me it would be better if you reversed your playlist order so we can start at the beginning with the basics :)
sorry for the late reply. who´s the woman from cebu? yea, my videos are in order from upload dates, it´s just how it is, but you can navigate them by searching on topics. perhaps if I were teaching in person, I'd start from the basics.
There are lots of books on English to Cebuano. They're all over the internet when I did a search on Amazon and such. There are dictionaries, books, phone apps, youtube, facebook groups, movies, news, shows, music, etc...
So “Wa ko’y tulog.” is “Wala ko ang tulog.”? Maybe I didn’t understand properly. Or is it actually that? I’m probably deaf. I probably can’t focus properly. 7/14/2020 TUE Afternoon
For me, there's no difference in spelling and pronouncing the "og" and "ug" since(for me, okay?) it's a homonym. It has many meanings, which what makes them different. Also, noooo. The video is not full! 6/28/2020 SUN Midnight
Rereading my comment; " *IT* has many meanings, which what makes *THEM* different. " Is that the correct grammar? IT means the homonym "og" and THEM the two "o/ug"s
you don't have many followers, but it's the best lesson I've ever seen for learning cebuano. Salamat. It will help me a lot
Mathias Zube
I will be uploading more videos soon

Hi Miguel, you didn’t speak about the og. Do you cover this in a later video?
Also, is Ako a subject marker?

@George Saadé lol I didn't know hence I asked. Plenty of other Cebuanas teaching on videos too!
Thank you very much for the course. Is there a book on English to Visayan?
There are lots of books on English to Cebuano. They're all over the internet when I did a search on Amazon and such. There are dictionaries, books, phone apps, youtube, facebook groups, movies, news, shows, music, etc...
Kadaghanan sa mga bisaya kay magpataka ra ug sulat kon unsay kalahian sa "ug" ug "og", para sa ila basta "ug" mao na kna mga walay panginlabot ba !
So “Wa ko’y tulog.” is “Wala ko ang tulog.”? Maybe I didn’t understand properly. Or is it actually that? I’m probably deaf. I probably can’t focus properly.

Yeah, you're deaf as fuck, and you hang around people who speak "slang" Ceblish too much. If you conjugate the verb, it'll make sense to you.
@Resmine Narvasa
"wa" is this shorthand form of "wala"
"ko'y" is a contraction for "ko ang"
Therefore, what you said should be correct.

I'm jealous😤! You're a great teacher! I, a native, don't really know how to teach anyone unlike you. Awww

IT means the homonym "og" and THEM the two "o/ug"s
Tabiana nako oy.
