The drum is called a cajon and it’s an actual instrument that is widely used. Granted this one looks to be very poor quality. Teenage Engineering is a musical instrument company that designs really nice small form factor synths.

I own one. It has great sound for the size and it’s at a great price. Teenage Engineering announced this about two years ago, but only the speakers and a turntable that was ultimately cut from the product line because in product testing, people kept breaking it while assembling. I think this has real value, being too bassy is easy to correct and fix, the other way around is much more difficult to correct since additional bass makes the driver work way harder. Turning up the treble isn't such restriction. Of course there is much more to good sound than just balance, but that goes a long way.
And being modular means you can quite easily add to the system with splitters and additional cables.

I hope you're joking! I really do! Cuz they made a cheap speaker to sell en mass and that's OK, But even my brother can do that! No, they didn't stop there, they used the overpriced tag to buy an actual tweeter and put on it. Then they decided not to hook it up to the amplifier because designing a crossover would be too much. and finnally they decided to put a low-pass filter to cut off high frenquencies from the driver they actually hooked up to the amplifier because that's somehow a good idea and not at all, similar to making a crossover.
I mean, they could just as well have wired everything thogether shoved up on an amplifier terminal and just hope it works well enough not to catch fire before the 1 year warranty ends.

German resident here, those swedes are something else huh? These speakers seem super overpriced, seriously to set up a "2.1" (not even true stereo, according to the data sheet) Frekvens sound system would cost 165 euro plus change. There are much more respectable solutions on the market for half the price. The portability seems to only complicate the issue as the battery packs are not included (although relatively reasonably priced) but then when you include the extra 44 euro plus change you would have to fork out for 3 battery packs you're now competing against even better portable speakers.
To put this in perspective instead of paying around 210 euro for the "2.1" Frekvens you could simply spend 145.50 for an LG PL7 XBOOM and only miss out on 10W RMS over the Frekvens but in return get better sound quality, actual stereo sound, better portability and be 55 euros richer.
On another note that box drum thing is apparently a Cajon, a Peruvian percussion instrument if you want to look up how it's supposed to sound simply search for "Cajon" solo on here on TH-cam.

@@dodecahedron1 I mean.. yeah, technically South Korean manufacturers tend to *localize* their product names, which is the word all of you weirdos are looking for.
Seriously, localization of product names is nothing new, so yeah, it should have at least a secondary name or sub-name, like Markus (Mark) or something wouldn't be awful, not a literal translation 100% of the time since it would create off the wall names but yeah.. localization is a thing companies do. While I wouldn't say "YEAH!, FORCE THEM to make it English!" I will say having a subname for it would great help.
Some mild localisations outside of just making Nagiri into Donuts in Pokemon include:
Dōbutsu no Mori get's called Animal Forest by English speakers, Dōbutsu no Mori is the franchise that started Animal Crossing, and Animal Forest was the English name for the game that came out on the N64.
Zankyou no Terror and "Terror in Resonance" is another example, this time it's a Japanese Anime we're talking about, while the English word "Terror" is in the Japanese title, that does not obviously make it understood by English speakers who do not know Japanese., thus "Terror in Resonance".
I forgot my last example since I was eating some pancakes and watching something else for a bit, but to cut to the chase, there are plenty of companies who name their products with a regional name. It's not absurd, it's not some idiot being Xenophobic (although to say "it's just stupid. [I] can't pronounce half of the stuff [...] which makes it harder than it needs to be." is implying though subtext at least, that they think they SHOULD rather than saying COULD, that's a big difference in this discussion.) and close minded (completely) it's just someone venting their frustration about not having regional names, seriously, why do you other commenters (3 out of 4 total at time of typing) act like regional names and localization is just absurd and nonexistent?

The future is a sofa with bluetooth led tv 5g

    • @MrCODEmaster00
      @MrCODEmaster00 4 ปีที่แล้ว

I mean.. you can technically already do that.
Shit, even a Touch Screen computer built into the armrest is possible without even being janky at all.
As for bluetooth, LED TV, and 5G
      *For bluetooth capability.*
iirc there are 5G add-in SIM Cards for phones, so perhaps you can do that and have a phone built into your couch like how cars had built-in telephones back in the day.
for bluetooth, either go the computer built into the armrest approach, or just use a Thin mITX motherboard, have stereo speakers connected to it, and have the whole assembly hidden behind the back cushions of the couch, there's usually some hollow space there., for speaker mounting you can either take apart the plastic housing and have them front-facing under the armrest area, OR you could also have bluetooth speakers as well which charge through USB (connected to the Thin mITX computer behind the back cushion or into the built-in computer in the armrest) and mount them inward-facing on the armrests, like have them facing the couch seats themselves and near the front so they don't get badly muffled.
      *For monitor capability.*
So theres a main approach to this one, and while typing this I realized there's also an insane approach to this, find a couch with a reclining section, not the whole couch, JUST one seat. Take that reclining assembly apart, put it back together in reverse, instead of the recliner being out and swinging down to close, you want it to be rotated to be upwards, and going towards the sofe back in order to close (which needless to say, it won't.) INSANE VERSION OUT THE WAY, Portable Monitors, ASUS makes some really good ones that are I think up to 17 inches, there's even a model that takes video input AND charging in only 1 Type-C cable, intended for laptops this kind of cabling system greatly reduces any power cables coming out the back, and also is easier to route. The 15/17 inch monitor goes onto some makeshift hand made "VESA Mount" for a screen that doesn't have vesa mounting holes, after you make an enclosure for the monitor to go inside of, the housing should have VESA mounting hole compatibility and be mounted on a swing arm which attaches to an armrest, the Type-C power/data cable goes along the swing arm.
Well, I sorta covered the 5G bit into the "for bluetooth" part, so just an aside to that, VoIP would probably just be the easiest option, there are programs /besides Skype/ that let you have VoIP and treat your computer like a Phone whenever you need to make calls. Finding a laptop that has a SIM Reader also isn't impossible, Lenovo and I'm sure others, but Lenovo has them in "business" computers as cheap as 600 USD last I checked.
***TL;DR*** It's already possible, if you don't believe me just read above. *Side notes:* I also want to shout out r/pcmods and r/SFFPC while r/sffpc doesn't show off Thin mITX they do a lot of other SFFPC cases like the Dan A4 Mini and such, it's a circle-jerk of popular cases a lot of times since that's what the sub likes and puts effort into looking good, however they are also the only subreddit (that I know of) that even touches the acknowledgement of homemade /small/ cases, so some of the people there do know about Thin mITX and would be ablew to help you with any questions, r/pcmods gets a shout out here because not only do they do "basic" mods like spray painting graphics cards and worsening the performance of Noctua fans, but they also do some really awesome CNC, Dremel, Laser Cutting work, and this leads to them showing off a lot of random integrations of stuff, PC in a car, custom Desk PC with touch screen monitors in the desk, computers in briefcases, etc. Check both of the subreddits out if you are even remotely interested in custom PCs that aren't just either pretty colors, good cable management, or water-cooled behemoths like on r/pcmr, while those are neat, they are not nearly as uniquely amazing as the other two subs.
