    There is just something about the sound of the cz series that is just mystifying. Such a unique synthesizer.

    I loved my old CZ-1000. I had two, actually, the first one was destroyed by leaving batteries in it which leaked.
    I didn't learn, the second one went the same way.
    When I got my first "pro" synth, a D-50, I used to love layering that and the CZ together, some lovely tones there.

    I owned one in the 90s. The biggest disadvantage in my opinion was the missing touch sensitivity. And you must imagine, Yamaha‘s DX7 came out at the same time. It was simply the more attractive instrument despite the higher price.

    • @autumnbrushtail
      @autumnbrushtail ปีที่แล้ว

      I thought the only CZs that don't have touch sensitivity were the 1000, 101 and maybe the 230. Didn't the 3000, 5000 and 1 have it (and didn't the 1 also have channel aftertouch?)

    Legendary synthesizer Casio please listen bring them back re-enter the professional synthesizer market you guys would make a killing the CZ series is going up in price every year they would make so much money. Thanks for the awesome demo I used to have the cz-3000 and I regret to this day selling it it was in mint condition not a single problem oh well you live in learn don't you. Pretty much one of the only synthesizers which hasn't really dated and for me eats dx7s for breakfast. Thank you so much for your awesome demo it's making me feel nostalgic

    Still a great synth but alas very difficult to program. I think such complicated instruments are only of real interest if they make really unique sounds. It is however good that they are not forgotten. I have for instance put a lot of work in the Technics WSA-1. If ever a synth was underestimated it is that one.

I want to buy your sounds but I don't have the MT connector cable to load audio signals of the patches. Do you have extra RAM cartridges? I think the basic sound engine of all the CZ series were the same. Higher end models had more voices of polyphony and maybe a chorus effect, nicer build quality, I think the CZ-1 maybe had velocity or aftertouch? So I imagine they can all more or less produce the same sounds.

    I bought a brand new CZ5000 in the first month of 1985...these are NOT the original patches..some are similar...plus note that there's a lot of effect on these sounds playing here...the titel are misleading..It should say "Custom"..or "Personal" Patches.PS! Still have a CZ5000..not the same..i've had several of them..2 at the same time ..coz the sequencer is damn fun to play with..because it's so simpel..it's an 8 track linear sequencer..with no copy and paste..you have to program each note from beginning to the end..ah well..anyone with a CZ5000 knows what i'm talking about.

      That's what they mean by original. Their own, original patches. In the same way that a show on Netflix can be a Netflix Original.
