end-of-summer makeup declutter ☀️ small makeup collection refresh

get cozy decluttering some of my makeup with me. I have a small-ish makeup collection and I'm trying to downsize even more to hit that underconsumption core status 😂 so i decided to go through some of my products and declutter the ones that are not working for me any more.

Don’t throw that eyebrow gel before you try to comb your flyaways with it. it’s so good and doesn’t leave the hair stiff or greasy just use a little and you’re good

i love watching your videos, i find them oddly therapeutic 😅 Do you ever deal with guilt when throwing away makeup? I have this fenty beauty foundation that I bought like 4 years ago when I was extremely tanned, and its been sitting on my vanity since then. I hate it sooooo much. Putting aside that its way too dark for me, it oxidizes in the ugliest shade of orange I have ever seen. The formula is horrible (its so matte) and I have tried so hard to make it work but it’s impossible.
None of my friends fit the shade (since its so orange) and I feel I should just get rid of it but I can’t!! The bottle is too full, and I keep remembering the price I paid for it. 😢

I feel suuuuper guilty decluttering expensive things. I very rarely do and if I do, i try my hardest to give them to someone that might enjoy (my mum hasn't bought makeup in a while thanks to the few things I've given her haha). That being said, I think if the foundation is 4 years old it's very much expired so giving it away isn't really an option :( Maybe you can empty out the bottle and keep it as an extra container to depot other products or use for travelling?

I explained it as a I decluttered each product and then again at the end 😅 some were thrown away for sanitary reasons and others I'm giving away
