    why is there a pressure support dial as well as a PEEP when placed on NIV CPAP? shouldn't it be just a single pressure i.e PEEP alone?

      you can just put the pressure support to 0 and dial in the PEEP

      Luke, the pressure support can be dialed to "zero", thus it becomes "NIV CPAP"

    How do you obtain a plateau pressure on this ventilator?

    • @Hamilton-medical

      Hello! This is a useful article on how to calculate plateau pressure on our HAMILTON-T1: www.hamilton-medical.com/Resource-center/Article-page~knowledge-base~14232908-6f10-47d0-abe1-2e5b9de333f1~.html

      @@Hamilton-medical Thank you, how do I get our T1's to display plateau pressures on the main screen or sub screens. I see the words displayed in the box that show Cstat but it never displays the value for plateau pressure

      Hi, thank you for the follow-up question. Are you working with software version 2.2x or 3.0x? If you could send your details (device, hospital, care unit, etc.) to info@hamilton-medical.com, someone from our team would be happy to look into this with you. Thanks!

    Did he mean 30 days for the neonate (pretty sure he said 30kg)

    • @Hamilton-medical
      @Hamilton-medical  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! Yes he said 30 kg. From the user manual (software 2.2x): "The intended patient population ranges from neonatal patients with 0.2 kg to 30 kg body weight to pediatric patients with 30 cm height (3 kg ideal body weight) up to adults up to 250 cm height (139 kg ideal body weight)." www.hamilton-medical.com/Resource-center.html?resource-detail-type=document&resource-detail-id=dcfdd841-cb24-41a4-b94d-58f8d76c4116
