They are both the triangle method. PQ = PO + OQ but because we didn't have a value for "PO" we would have to find it using the inverse vector which is "-OP". Therefore "PO" is the same as "-OP". Using your way it would be PQ= PO + OQ PQ = -OP + OQ But in the Associative law his method is also correct use whichever works best for you PQ= PO+OQ PQ = OQ - OP If you switch them for numbers you would see they work out to be the same answer. I personally use your way as well

Coordinate geometry statistics and transformation are the three topics I’m looking to cover before the exam...
To find the perpendicular bisector you use the midpoint for x and y and the negative inverse of the gradient. I think.
