This bowl doesn’t bother me so much but i find something haunting about wind turbine fields built on the sea. I do maintenance on wind turbines occasionally but it has always been ones built inland. Offshore oil rigs kinda bother me too.

that's triple gnar. I like diving off sh1t, but I' probably wouldn't do that... I might have if I was a still a bit younger, but I'm not as physically capable these days. we have an old Victorian, swimming pool where I live, and you can climb on the bars and dive off into the sea, that's about as adventurous as I've gotten in years. you do have to know what you're doing though, as the sea is not very deep, and you will hit the floor if you don't scoop yourself up when you hit the water... that being said, when I was last there there were no rocks, just sand so it was fine. I've face planted the sea floor at that spot a lot.

Sure the ladder into the bowl was important but it would have done nothing in the event he misjudged his descent trajectory and hit anything but the water. Also I was worried the water wouldn't be deep enough to prevent him from hitting the bottom.🔥

My guess is that without it the waves splash up against the mountain which erodes the mountain overtime. So I think they have it their to save the cliff
This is close to me in Øygarden, what you jumped into was an old water turbine that exsisted many years ago, the ocean there was so powerful that it ripped the turbine off. It's pretty cool when the waves are big in that spot, it goes into the hole and shoots up pretty high
