I have to say that I really do like your Channel. If I had a drumming Channel myself, it would be for a lot of the same reasons as you have for your channel. I'm a big fan of drumming and metal drumming in particular. ever since I was around nine years old I started air drumming to Metallica, Pantera, Slayer etc. I I'm not able to play the drums for real and I know I would not be very good if I had one anyway LOL. I appreciate what you do on TH-cam and your stances on being a TH-camr and a drummer and a normal person. You seem like the kind of person that would put his family first above all else and I respect that. Again I love what you do and would not ask you to change anything. Keep it up and I look forward to your future content.

When I'm air drumming to (what was in the old days of cassette and vinyl) side 1 of the South Of Heaven album, I take a break during this song (apart from the guitar solos section) and then do Mandatory Suicide, because Silent Scream and Live Undead take a lot out of me. So I never learned to fully drum along with this one. South Of Heaven (side 1 specifically) is my air drumming album. Dave's drumming is so powerful on it (without having to turn the bass down Lars!)
Nick Dearman it's all about being comfortable with the beat your trying to do, if your straining to do something, try to dial it back about ten bpm or so and try that till you get in your comfort zone with it. practicing with ankle weights helped me increase my foot speed considerably. But be careful with that because it can fuck up the springs in your pedal. It's all about consistent practice give it a couple weeks and I guarantee your speed will improve.
Hard to believe Dave didnt make any money while being with slayer. South of heaven is his album.
