I thought your forest fairy journal was spectacular, but so is this one!! I can see where you have used many of the same techniques yet they are completely original and so different from each other. And you did it again by balancing the decoration with plenty of journaling space. You have such a unique style that really stands out from others. Your journals are very special indeed. tyfs!
This came up I’ve subscribed! It’s absolutely beautiful I love it so much. I’ve been crafting all my life over 50 years but I’m only just getting into junk journals. It’s tentative steps but I’m thoroughly enjoying the process.

Your comment has reminded me to make a list of my personal favorites and post it on my community page or somewhere. I love to create and I would love to teach others but I have such an aversion to making videos for some strange reason...I have 6 journals that have been sitting here finished for weeks now and every day I try to get myself to do some flip-though videos so I can list them...maybe tomorrow...lol

Fabulous chunky , junky journal. It was helpful that you said you only make loaded journals. It’s been a problem, as a new journal maker to think in terms of moderation! So thank you for that. The grungy fairy printable are Luise Heinzel’s. She does some great stuff.
Thank you for your kind feedback Linda and the only rule I have ever followed with my journals is "there are no rules"!!...lol.. I make my journals the way I want to make them and some people love them and some people don't...and that's perfectly ok with me..:-) ...and I am really bad with names and even worse when I am trying to make these videos, but I did list Luise in the credits for her beautiful digitals for sure...🙂

Hi. Just watching your video. OMG it is incredible. I’m new to this. Working on my second journal!! Could you please tell me what weight paper do you use. Doesn’t look or sound like ordinary coffee paper?? It’s phenomenal and I have so many new ideas from watching this. Many thanks 🙂🙂
I am so happy you got some ideas from my flip-through! I am not sure which pages you are wondering about but I use many different paper weights and types of paper in every journal I make. My advice would be to just play around and experiment with all kinds of different weight paper...even using different brands will give you a different sound and texture. I use regular copy paper as well as loads of vintage paper I have collected over the years thrifting. Coffee dying vellum also has a wonderful texture and sound and that may be what you are hearing and seeing. I hope that is a little bit helpful? Honestly just grab a bunch of different paper you have on hand and have a play...and you will quickly learn what you love the most...😊

I love your journal it's beautiful. I have a question. I just finished my forest journal and it's my first one that has a alligator mouth. What is the best way to tie it?
Oh goodness, good for you!! and the sky is really the limit for tying it when it gets too fat...you can use sari silk, ribbon, dyed fabric strip, a shoelace, yarn braided together, twine, etc, etc....lol.....whatever you have handy and keeps it secured closed will work...🙂

This is one of the most beautiful journals I have ever seen. I love the bigness of it along with all the tuck spots, cards and beautiful papers, You have really outdone yourself. I hope the person who receives it cherishes it forever. I know I would. I can only dream of being able to make one of these between time and space and kids I am limited to what I can do. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful journal with us! Maybe one day I have a little extra money that I can purchase one of your journals. They are definitely worth whatever your price with all the time and work and creativity you put into it ❤❤

That was exactly what I was trying to achieve but I don't always share my 'creative 'vision'' with my journals in case others don't see it when I am finished. I prefer to let them interpret it how they experience it....if that makes sense...lol... Thank you for commenting that you see it the way I did! 🙏😊

I have one I started last year, similar in style..I had signatures laying around my house, at least a 10 inch spine if I ever get it bound😆 I kept going and going and didn't really think about the pile. I don't think I will enjoy binding it but I gotta get it done. Thanks for the inspiration, ill probably watch more than once! I really like yours:)
