vlogging my way through Alaska

I took a trip to Fairbanks, Alaska last week in pursuit of the Northern Lights and then I made this video about it. Alaska is so wild and beautiful, truly the last frontier. Highly recommend you try to visit at some point in your life. I think if I ever go back I will definitely be staying at that super cozy chalet again, I miss it already 😭

Wow! Sorry you missed the aurora. I live in Fairbanks, and lemme tell ya, I've only seen the northern lights like five times in my life? But I'm glad you enjoyed Alaska!

whaaat for some reason I thought they were a common occurrence ! 😅 well that makes me feel much better lol. It was so pretty, I wish we had gotten more time to explore more of Alaska. Have you ever seen a bear there?? I live in LA so the closest to wildlife we get are raccoons, so when we saw those bear tracks I got so scared lol

@@jenwebbcreates They are, but most of the time they're covered by clouds. And granted, I don't go outside much. Haha. Personally, I haven't seen a bear, but I've seen plenty of moose. And moose can be just as dangerous as bears--especially if you're getting near a mom and her calves. But, if you want a better chance catching the Northern Lights, try December or January where it get's dark early.

I was originally drawn to your channel because I was seeking help with learning figma for design processes. But then felt bad when watching your video that said you spent all the time on the Alaska video and no one watched it. I think you did a great job, I've always wanted to go there I've never seen snow before. (Wish you could have seen the northern lights) Anyway, I'm curious if you could help me learn an efficient design process using figma or maybe point me in the right direction to some helpful information/someone who can???

aw thanks I appreciate that. I haven't made any new websites using figma+squarespace since that first design with me video, I've been working mostly on existing websites lately. I do want to make more videos like it though once I get more clients :) it seems like a lot of people really resonated with that design with me video, so I will try to make more content like that!
