Kibler... you are an inspiration. May it be your ideas for deck design, your optimistic attitude playing Hearthstone or your absolutely insanely mindful and amazing plays that allow the lesser experienced players (like myself) to see the potential to playing Hearthstone. I thank you for all of this and much more ^^
if you play face shaman a lot you actully will know their hand , its easy to have one rocket bitter plus doomhammer doing 10 damage for shaman, so when he was at 11 , the sap is very neccsasary
+Karrbon Rockbiter was the only way he loses that game. It's not about whether or not the shaman has the rockbiter. It's about covering every single option he might have. Blade of cthun takes care of any future threats so there's no value in saving the sap. You win 90% of scenarios without sapping and 100% with sapping. Super smart play.
Kibler, is your wife a fan of Fallout 4? I've heard a lot of the music that plays on the Classical Radio station on Fallout 4 on your video'. I love it. You two work really well with each other.
You know, when I first saw your C'Thun/Reno Video, my first thought was "It looks like that deck could support N'Zoth and Yogg-Saron without too many changes. I wonder if Kibler will try something like that." I even theorycrafted a deck for it, but since I don't have Yogg I never tried it. Turns out you did try it. Great video!
Honestly, how many of us would have lost that game?...i mean pin the Squire with your weapon, kill her with one of the minions, everything is going well right...oh wait, what the hell, another Rockbiter Weapon??? fuuuuuuuuuuu... *shuts the game down*.
+Hunam His play was very correct lol, never leave a shaman minion on board when you have low health. rockbiter, bloodlust, etc. are very commonly played.
I learned not to leave any minion on a shaman's board the hard way.....man...the amount of games I would've won if I killed every minion a shaman opponent played...
I've been playing this kind of deck for 2 weeks now, finally the moment comes when Kibler made a similar deck :D Edit: his list seems more viable than mine.
There's two ways to look at that game. On the one hand, he got REALLY lucky to have the coin assassinate on 4 (his only hard removal) to clear the 7/7 which would have wrecked him, AND to topdeck reno on his exact last draw before the shaman killed him. On the other hand, if he didnt sap the 1/1, which was a sick play, he would never have seen the reno. A delicate balance of luck and skill isnt it.
I played a similar deck a while back.. Was just reno/cthun and nzoth.. but I managed to get off the most amazing shadowcaster turn. Brann out > played emperor velk > shadowcastered it, had 1/1 taunt spawning 4/6 taunts.. Augh.
I've sapped N'Zoth's first mate before, denying aggro warrior a pirate or forcing him to override a good weapon with the 1/3 hook. sapping 1 drops is sometimes the right play! this was excellent, though
Shadowstep also resets its mana cost. This is a big deal with something expensive like blade of C'thun. Shadow caster makes it a 1 mana 1/1, and if you shadowstep that it goes to a 7 mana 4/4. If you didn't know this or think about it ahead of time, you might have expected your 1 mana thing to be free after shadowstepping.
I tried this deck also, i remained around the same rank as this. I tried every iteration of nzoth rogue. Always ended the same way, inconstant against current meta.
Sapping a 1/1, which just prevented him from dying and then getting the full reno value because of that sap play. Damn ... and this is why Kibler is a pro player and I am not. Seriously impressed.
1:00 I think that coin, SI:7, shadowstep, SI:7 would have been a much more interesting play. Even if it uses an extra card, it puts another 3/3 on board.
Reno decks are huge, they don't fit in between the two names very well unless you make the cards unreadable. I expect this is a more likely reason since the name of their opponent isn't anything private - they happily advertise their name every time they join a game.
While Kibler and most other streamers are nice, some berate the opponent for making horrible plays while actually admitting they may be new to the game (but not in a nice way, still in a patronizing way). That isn't exactly good advertising and is almost a little bullying in a way.
lmao I don't know why I get so salty and yet I enjoy these videos so much, last 4 posted videos Brian would've lost those games had he not have drawn insane top decks.... I wish I could get this kind of luck.
Normaly he would have lost this in a landslide. No Trog turn one, no doctor 2 turn two. The shaman didnt play anything valuable until turn 5. Against this kind of enemy most decks have won.
Sees Kibler sap a lousy 1/1 squire - "I want a refund!"
Sees Kibler at 1 health next turn - "TAKE MA MONEY. ALL OF IT"
Kibler doesn't know what a Loli is. You pure, untainted, perfect specimen
Yea, I also was like "dude, you spelled lolis wrong!.. oh wait, you prob don't know what it is"
So young, so pure.
So old yet so pure*... I'm convinced now, is he actually pure? (Virgin I mean)
He got married a few months ago.
Then he shouldn't be.. btw, you're not the strongest :^)
Your wife does an amazing job, the way the music matches the cards at the beginning was so cool.
Kibler... you are an inspiration.
May it be your ideas for deck design, your optimistic attitude playing Hearthstone or your absolutely insanely mindful and amazing plays that allow the lesser experienced players (like myself) to see the potential to playing Hearthstone.
I thank you for all of this and much more ^^
...yea this is one of those games I would have lost
Yep, "Sapping a 1-1, no. Oh rockbiter, oh I'm dead."
if you play face shaman a lot you actully will know their hand , its easy to have one rocket bitter plus doomhammer doing 10 damage for shaman, so when he was at 11 , the sap is very neccsasary
+He Richard He had already used one, so there was low possibility of having 2nd.
+rkubiniec I know its super smart!
Opponent also got really lucky rolling the spell damage totem so that he could kill twin emperor with lava burst! Good game and great play!
I'm beggining to feel like a sap god, sap god
I thought the title was ironic at first when you sapped the argent squire. Then i understood.
Reno C'Thun N'Zoth Yogg Rogue
another basic deck by Kibler
Call it Reno and the 3 MuskaGodteers
Musgodteers? maybe?
the three ancient gods ft. reno
I usually call it threesome
Its extremely greedy deck, I bet its very inconsistent as well, but Kibler is a good player so if anyone can make it work its him.
I seriously appreciate the music you put into these videos. I remember playing this piece in highschool. Love it.
i am sorta convinced, that kibler is actually a wiazrd that can see into the future
+Vi Duong I higly doubt that he's virgin tho
hes actually married
It was 60...
@Kibler
This guy fucks! /siliconvalley
Kibler, you are a wizard.
Kibler is a soothsayer. He makes so many great calls
Backstab woulda accomplished the same thing.
Unless you mean an earlier backstab, Argent Squire had divine shield. Meaning backstab would do nothing.
+The Legend of Seph And that s why you are still rank 15 ...
Machini man Im legend every season, bub. I invented tempo dragon warrior that reynad and several other major streamers play. Go fuck yourself.
Like the dragon warrior that already was a thing when tgt came out and people experimented with?
holy crap, we played this in high school for competition. brings back some good memories ;). great moves, kibler! keep it up
holy shit, amazing plays as always
Yo kibler, do you do the music yourself cus its fantastic. Always fits perfectly.
+Paul Lyons my wife Natalie does the editing and music. She's great :)
doenst she also run your youtube channel ? lol
Kibler, is your wife a fan of Fallout 4? I've heard a lot of the music that plays on the Classical Radio station on Fallout 4 on your video'. I love it. You two work really well with each other.
His wife makes the videos.
I think it's a whole orchestra that's doing the music.
I like how perfectly the mulligan synced up with the music.
GLORIOUS!- that is the most excited I have ever seen Kibley.
Really enjoyed he music in this video. I remember playing it back in the days of HS Band.
Lol I just played it this year for band. I was like wait I know this half way through XD
What's the name of the song?
+Luka Petrović in the description
I liked just because of the song. Thanks for culturing your audience, Kibler!
rofl when you sap'd it i was like "WTF KIBLER SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?"
then i lol'd
C'Thun Renolock is prolly the most bad ass combination of great cards I've ever used. legendary for days!
Honestly, how many of us would have lost that game?...i mean pin the Squire with your weapon, kill her with one of the minions, everything is going well right...oh wait, what the hell, another Rockbiter Weapon??? fuuuuuuuuuuu... *shuts the game down*.
It doesn't make his play correct though.
+Hunam His play was very correct lol, never leave a shaman minion on board when you have low health. rockbiter, bloodlust, etc. are very commonly played.
Hunam Why not?
I learned not to leave any minion on a shaman's board the hard way.....man...the amount of games I would've won if I killed every minion a shaman opponent played...
Against anything but shaman for sure I would agree
Kibler, your RNG really is off the damn charts half the time
Brian "Please don't call me 'Brian "Brian Kibler" Kibler'" Kibler, you should make a Shadowform Dragon Reno Cthun Nzoth Yogg Priest.
How about some murlocs too spice it up? :D
I've been playing this kind of deck for 2 weeks now, finally the moment comes when Kibler made a similar deck :D
Edit: his list seems more viable than mine.
Congrats on 200,000 subs
That's the reason you're Legend every season and I can't get past Rank 4 BibleThump
Wow, Amazing.
Saludos desde Chile Kibbler, eres el mejor. Me encanta con la alegría que juegas.
There's two ways to look at that game. On the one hand, he got REALLY lucky to have the coin assassinate on 4 (his only hard removal) to clear the 7/7 which would have wrecked him, AND to topdeck reno on his exact last draw before the shaman killed him. The gg's
Sapping a 1/1 is the new strategy haha xD
how do you keep drawing reno the turn you need him
any good ideas what to switch yogg out for, i dont own him
This is an excellent example on the difference in the skill level of me and Kibler, i would never never never never sapped there..
I've sapped N'Zoth's first mate before, denying aggro warrior a pirate or forcing him to override a good weapon with the 1/3 hook. sapping 1 drops is sometimes the right play! this was excellent, though
always such a pleasure watching your games. feel bad for not paying XD
hey kibler have any tips for a newbie?
Wat do those resubs and numbers at the side mean??? :/
thats like the most incredible thing i've seen today
i was waiting for the mad scientist laugh.. and it finally showed up :)
I had no idea you could shadow step a shadow caster 1/1 to return it to normal
Shadowstep also resets its mana cost. This is a big deal with something expensive like blade of C'thun. Shadow caster makes it a 1 mana 1/1, and if you shadowstep that it goes to a 7 mana 4/4. If you didn't know this or think about it ahead of time, you might have expected your 1 mana thing to be free after shadowstepping.
Brian, i like your videos. They are short and interesting!
Man you are good at this game
U should add Y'shaarj, just to get the evil 4 back together :)
+PumpkinPatchers Reno is the real fourth old god
"Bow down to the god of full life"
+Brian Kibler
Can't disagree on that XD
When you sapped the 1/1 I thought you were an idiot.
When he got you to 1 health I realized I was an idiot.
That's incredible!
2:45 Doctor SI:7 4/4: Summon two SI:7 Agents. WARNING: Agents may deal 2 damage
That sap is impressing.
I enjoy Kiblers videos
Epic, just epic. Good game sir! LOL
1:00 I think that coin, SI:7, shadowstep, SI:7 would have been a much more interesting play. Even if it uses an extra card, it puts another 3/3 on board.
Brann doesn't double combo efffects. So you would only deal 4 damage total leaving him with a 7/3
Clay Norrbin Oh yeah my bad, I would have failed there. :/
Corporal_Cake haha I only know because I have made the mistake before :/
Wasn't expecting the sap target.
Hey there Mr. Kibler!
Wouldn't have it be better to sap the totem golem ?
Healing from 1hp with Reno against some facetard and watching them insta concede, there's no better feeling in Hearthstone
I noticed some people started covering their opponent's names with the decklist... any specific reason for that?
just a simple private protect
no big reason there
Screen space mostly.
Reno decks are huge, they don't fit in between the two names very well unless you make the cards unreadable. I expect this is a more likely reason since the name of their opponent isn't anything private - they happily advertise their name every time they join a game.
I've seen this happen on non-reno decks though
While Kibler and most other streamers are nice, some berate the opponent for making horrible plays while actually admitting they may be new to the game (but not in a nice way, still in a patronizing way). That isn't exactly good advertising and is almost a little bullying in a way.
Awesome game to watch
Wow...I would have definitely not sapped that and lost!
n'zoth rogue better or c'thun rogue?
i think its more of a personal taste but i like nzoth better
Probably Nzoth
Why not both in the same deck?
+JerzuFIN With Yogg and Reno in the mix for added insurance.
really awesome deck
That was beautiful.
1:25 just realized, Tracer's father is here, boyfriend? whatever, that's a Tracer's quote
And Elven Archer is Widowmaker.
"Incredible!"
very nice kibler :D
Bacchanal. :) the background music
People know, what they are watching and yet, they give you a thumbs down??? seems rather ridiculous in my opinion.
A C'Zoth-SaReno deck, eh? ...Y'know, I felt pretty clever coming up with this, but reading it fully typed out is giving me a headache.
lmao I don't know why I get so salty and yet I enjoy these videos so much, last 4 posted videos Brian would've lost those games had he not have drawn insane top decks.... I wish I could get this kind of luck.
love you kibler
the plays!
The decision that confirms that kibler is a top player. I wouldn`t had sap that ever :(
Amazing!
Don't you mean A-Mei-zing? :) Sorry. OW memes. lol
its like the thing with anleash the hounds LOL
Kibler, you're a god.. Just saying
Top deck reno,my reaction how did kibler did it wtf
Just to let you know, I can hear a ton of background noise coming from your microphone.
SHHHHAAAAAMAAAAAANNNNNNNNNN
Is it just me who thinks Kibler is very similar to Chris from Parks and Rec?
HAHA I was telling my friends that Kibler reminds me so much of Rob Lowes character.
easily play of the year.
That deck name tho...
Sapping a 1/1 as a game winning play...well, I guess determining whether a play is good or bad all comes down to the context in which it was made.
that fucking luck is disgusting
Lmao shaman from the vid
No, he is just good at predicting. What's really disgusting is how "interactive" face shaman is.
28 damage done by doomhammer
Well Played XD
This is why I'm not legend. I would never do that
TAKE MY LIKE SIR LUL
GOD.
DAMN.
Mmmm dat baccanale
you are in your classic room again so you are going better with your alergy isious
4:05 its pronounced as 'lol-eee' HAHAHAH
Clearly Kibler was stream snipping that poor guy ;)
Normaly he would have lost this in a landslide. No Trog turn one, no doctor 2 turn two. The shaman didnt play anything valuable until turn 5. Against this kind of enemy most decks have won.
The richest of Reno's.
ive never seen someone win the game because they sapped a 1/1
well, now we all know how to play SAP xDDD
Reno top deck god.
(Heartstone) Aggro shaman who don't play anything the first 3 turns. Serious Free win Value*
