First reviewer to put a lunch box into a bag!!! I watched so many videos of various bags, not one person showed whether a lunch box fits. Thank you 🙏 now I only wish I watched this before I ordered the Thule paramount 24l as that doesn’t have the cool side-pocket thing.
Thank you for the review! I've been waiting for it before purchase, but I could resist the sale price and got it recently :) I've just returned from the trip with this backpack and I want to share my experience: Pros :) - amazing materials, satisfying to touch, water resistant, magnets are also cool - great look (and small logo). Even fully packed doesn't look bulky - side access to main area - super handy! Among all features I found this my top 1! - orange inner material not only looks awesome but helps see everything inside - asymmetric side pockets: I love single deep water pocket on one side and admin panel on the other - separate side access to laptop compartment is great. And also I was thinking there are too many pockets at the back, but I ended up using them all with flat items Cons :( - hardly standing itself until properly packed - top main zippers seem too small, and it's impossible to close the bag with one hand (but you can open top compartment with rip - no need to open every zip) - no bottom suspend for laptop, pretty weird - I agree with Kristyne - carrying it fully packed for a couple of days made me wanting a chest strap or even a waist belt. Maybe not important for everyday use, but could be helpful for travel Overall, great bag and worth the money!
One year later update: I've had 4 international travels for 7-14 days with this bag only. It's a killer! Still looks brand new. Everything in my full review is still relevant, but I'm more than satisfied with this bag
Would love to see an updated review of the newer model. They seem to have added a sternum strap and a removable rain cover (dedicated pocket at bottom but removable). But they've maybe removed the false bottom on the laptop sections because of that? Anyway, thanks for your thorough and thoughtful reviews!
I have and LOVE this bag! I took it on a 10 day trip to Ireland and a 3 day trip to the mountains with my girlfriend and it was perfection the whole way through. A little big for me to use as an EDC backpack, but I'll be using this on every trip I go on for the foreseeable future!
This is very tempting. It reminds me of Future Fin's Passport backpack, which showed up out of the blue, was soon discontinued, and I never grabbed hold of one. I love the well-thought-out organisation and usability here, which seem to be packaged in a surprisingly neat style.
Hello good day: May i know the material at the bottom of the bag? I commute a lot and oftentimes put my bag on the floor. I wonder if it's abrasive-resistant enough (or waterproof as well) for floor protection. Thanks and more power!
I'm trying to decide whether this (27L) or the 24L one is better for school. I'll need to carry lunch, a few books and p.e. gear once a week. Is there a big difference or is it just the Volume and the pockets in the front that are different?
i just got one from thule, it seems that they ditched the magnets in favor of hooks that go into loops that can be used for clips also, theyve also slightly changed a few other parts of the bags
I would LOVE this bag but I've only seen it in black as the most accessible color, as far as pricing goes, and that will not work here in Texas. It gets HOT here and black? Naw. That will not do. I ended up just getting the Olivine Commuter Backpack instead because of this issue.
I got confused by this review that main laptop compartment have a false bottom ( 9:53 ). This is false information, there is no false bottom! There is a false bottom only on minor tablet pockets, not main laptop one. There is only padding at the bottom that a thin laptop like macbook pro / air can miss and hit the ground directly!
We’ve found it does a great job at protecting your gear from the elements so long as the weather isn’t severe! More info in the full review: packhacker.com/travel-gear/thule/paramount-backpack-27l/ -Eric

I wish I read you review instead of trusting the video. There is not false bottom or suspend for laptop, contrary to what is said in the video.
@@timsonroblit might be a different version. Does yours have a rain cover compartment at the bottom?

Where can I buy thule backpack in Australia? I live in Melbourne and I am looking for Thule Paramount like this one.
Pass for me on this one. Sternum strap and or hip strap is my preference for 25L and above. Storable/removable hip straps added plus.
Thanks for sharing 😃

Hi guys! Love the video. Would you mind reviewing the latest Thule Paramount 3? I'm looking forward to buy one. Thank you.

Hi Pack Hacker, would you suggest to use it as a photographer backpack, by adding some camera compartment by our own?
Anyone knows the model of that backpack above her head? Looks like thule as well, the black with purple pocket. Any help?

Got this for myself. Love the bag and storage options but those zips are a pain, so much I’m thinking of selling
deciding to buy this one, lots of pocket fits me. thanks for comprehensive review 👌
Thanks for watching! 😃
I want this bag but the yellow colour in the inside looks so bad😢😢😢why tey made it yellow??
ca you provide link for external sternum strap?
What size is the Yeti bottle used in this video?

Are there any color options available? I am kind of sick of the plain black backpacks & need something more....
It also comes in a woodsy orange/yellow colorway!

is this a suitable bag to be used as carry on or check in luggage?
It’s a little small, but you could do that so long as it fits the airline’s requirements! 😃

I have oakley kitchen sink but now i have changes job to office and this bag suits office
