@Mary O Sullivan nothing as of yet, I had a lead on the tractor but that hasn't come to anything, no interest on the Coupe and there is someone to look at the Fiat
What a great idea you have there John. I can’t believe the interest you got in the Renault 9. We are all cautious advertising our cars in the public domain so I think you could be on to a winner.
Thanks Paul. Yes, it can be painful selling a car although generally speaking the biggest I've had were the nonsense calls so hopefully with the audience I have this will work well.
Great idea, John. Love the cattle outside - and the birds flying by! Advertised an old tractor on *that* website, a few years ago. The phone was still ringing at one o'clock in the morning - when I turned it off - luckily, the phone had a "disposable" SIM card !
Haha that's my neighbours! Love sitting and watching them. I'm hoping it'll help people avoid nonsense calls. I've noticed a trend recently to plague someone with calls to try and annoy them so that when someone does turn up you'll just want rid of the car.
@@JohnsGarageIreland I think it’s a great concept. No, it’s an absolutely fabulous concept if you can make it work. Your followers probably like your down to earth, unpretentious, “real person” style. Matching real buyers and real sellers like this is fabulous, if you can make a thing of it. As you hinted at yourself: just from chatting with someone virtually, or on the phone, you know enough about the business to quickly get an idea if the person is a time waster, or if they know what they’re looking at and why. Similarly, owners will be spared the time wasters, and they don’t have your intuition to weed them out quickly.
1984 Toyota Tercel SOLD
2002 Toyota Camry SOLD
1997 Hyundai Coupe STILL AVAILABLE
1977 Fiat 124 Spider STILL AVAILABLE
Ford 2600 STILL AVAILABLE
Any further updates?

@@JohnsGarageIreland Yes this is definitely a tactic.
Great initiative, I hope that rare Tercel gets a good new home. Totally agree so many “tyre kickers” around on the well know sites!
Yes, it's gone to a good home which is great news
Great idea, John. Keep hunting for Camrys!
Has to be more out there!
Great idea John...for the normal joe soap 😮
Exactly, if you're used to dealing with the public its not bad but not everyone wants to
Great idea John . Can you accommodate Wanted Ads ?
Yes, happy to do so if I can get a few more cars for sale
Great idea John. It's going to work well. I'm sure I'll have more cars for you 😂
No better man!
Great idea, but if I may be so bold: one video per vehicle perhaps? Just an idea to make it more efficient for buyers. 🤷♂️
Yep, certainly can do. Just wanted to see if the concept worked for now

And actual realistic prices too!
