I've watched this a number of times and keep coming back to it. I find it very calming and centering. There is a quiet power and timelessness to it. It's like the house has a wisdom we can only sense, but never know. And could it have better companions than Ms. Uniacke and her husband? Probably not. It all feels very, "meant to be". And finally to mention Matthew Donaldson and the team who created this beautiful film, I hope you're happy with this film. It brings a brief moment of calm and joy to people. Beautifully done.
This home is a most perfect balance between classical and modern architecture. It's also poetic and romantic. It's certainly a home you'd live in forever.

This is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. When the garden wall opened into a door I sprang out of my chair, and yet the drama of the spaces is so calm and understated, it’s like moving through a dream.

The house and its furnishings demonstrated intelligence and beauty. But the pathetic art work just brought down the whole experience. Photographs? Seriously? The big one at the top of the stairs is a joke, I laughed out loud. I only collect originals. No prints. No photographs. Photographs look cheap as demonstrated sitting on an easel.
