True to its title, old age love is nothing but a walk in Spring Rain. Making compromises according to situations not disturbing the Hornet's nest. Beautifully written, ably directed and acted.
Ingrid Bergman, is interesting and versatile thespian. Anthony Quinn is also versatile thespian. I will give it 10 minutes and see if the movie grabs me. Thank you 🙏 very much from Australia new subscriber. Cheers 🥂 I have seen this wonderful movie, and it’s worthy seeing it. And enjoyable to watch again. TTRN 😂
If you admire Ingrid Bergman and Anthony Quinn as actors, you'll certainly love this adult love story. Sometimes total boredom in a marriage can make the respective partners involved seek bliss in another form: a fresh hobby about which they are serious like writing, wander-lust by wanting to travel alone to find their lost selves or, perhaps, even another new person could give their existing drab existence a thrilling new dimension. While Bergman and Quinn's characters could be accused of cheating on their spouses, the treatment given to this delicate theme is handled aesthetically. The protagonists come out unscathed, though Quinn's character feels reluctance to part ways. Bergman's character walks away with her head held high, like the lady she was on and off the screen. What grace, what suave, what sophistication that no other stars could provide. Hats off to Bergman and Quinn.
Ooooooffffgg what a tragic tale which you never ever want anybody to be in whether families or otherwise but particularly within families which do not rise above base emotions to understand who should back away when to avoid tragedies
A Walk in the Spring Rain (1970); *hats off to Anthony Quinn & Ingrid Bergman; my respect to; to *turn in; go to bed; to taste (drink) moonshine; to bathe you; wash your body; *wear and tear on the face; *come at me like a man;
Loved it! A difficult situation well portrayed. Oh, true love can destroy everything! Anthony and Ingrid were marvellous.
