It's the engine water exit. It's on the side so you feel it with your hand to check temp (upon warm up) as well as ensure water is coming out. If it were exiting the back you can't see it.

OK guys, iffin you can please explain to me the water outlet coming out of the left side of these boats? Is it block water, speedo water or what?
