My 11 y. old Podenco princess is very sweet with all kinds of animals. She sleeps with our two cats, and has a very calming influence on others dogs, even those who usually don't like other dogs.

My Pod, Buddy, was abandoned at a couple of weeks.
He's now 2 -We've had him ten months. He is amazing and makes us laugh or scream every day. Incredible character and really loving.He has a few issues but so rewarding to have him in our lives. Zero recall when he's got his head down hunting but very trainable otherwise.

Podencos have the most fabulous ears! I’ve adopted retired racing greyhounds for 26 yrs but would love to add a Galgo or Podenco to our family. Such gorgeous athletic, sweet dogs!

Podenco's are the sweetest dogs, they are sweet as sugar and soft as cotton, i love my podenco leela so much... she is so special

I walked a Podenco-Beagle mix for just under 2 years who came from the street and was rescued from the kill shelter by the owners through adoption.
The dog didn't even listen to his name and couldn't go outside without a leash, hunted, etc.
I was able to change that, though.
I was recently outside with him for up to 8 hours a day and often covered up to 20 km with him, through a forest with animals, without a leash, sometimes by bike, sometimes on foot, and he was always available to call, even when I was hunting.
You have to learn to read these dogs, to understand them, and to find a way to communicate with them.
They are very intelligent.
At least this dog is the best dog in the world for me today ❤

@@pelztier175 yeah I know, but I thought they were white-brown and not completely red-brown as pharaohs and I thought that's the main difference between podenko and pharaoh hound. I have a pharaoh ❤️
