Good video Mat. Happy to see success with the peanut butter. I use a feeder with peanuts for several days to develop the habit. Then I use peanuts and peanut butter on the day of the shoot. I find the strong scent of the peanut butter works best with a light wind blowing towards the center of the woods where the bushy tails are living.

A great advert for a roving shoot and a brilliant tip with peanut butter.
I’m really glad that Nicky has come with you because your combination makes for great viewing and you’re both great ambassadors for the sport.
An invite on a shoot would be a great reward for such a gushing comment……..I mean serious review. 😂
A filmed/narrated target test of the test gun is the only thing missing. That would make this perfect.
The Niksan looks like a great option for the price range. Testing it with a Vantage scope is also a great idea that keeps it all real. 👍👍

I use the peanut butter tactic to good effect. If you do a good recce you can suss out which routes squirrels are taking through your perm and get the stuff smeared where you can cover them with wide arcs of fire.
Not a great fan of feeding stations as I believe they can be counter productive by pulling populations of greys closer to the woodlands you're trying to protect, as well as being very expensive to maintain. Not every one will agree with me, but that's my theory. And the tactics demonstrated in this video are better sport anyway.

I've seen a squirrel stop in it's track and head straight to a peanut butter baited body grip trap that was about 7 meters away. It works.
