Designer house pricing is getting out of hand. Especially when you consider how strong the middle eastern clone game has become. Somethings gotta give.
Facts .. you can get niche on discount websites cheaper than some of the designers
I was checking out my old orders from 10 to 15vyears ago. I bought 100ml designer bottles forclike 50 to 60 euro!!😊
Don't buy them.They will eventually end up at rack stores.Only buy if you really really have to have it.
Personally I feel it solidifies the case for buying niche, but yeah, there are some decent clones out there.
You can literally get niche for cheaper nowadays
Bleu De Chanel EDP is probably the most versatile fragrance ever

I agree. But I love the OG L'homme so much they should just make a 2024 or 2025 release where it's the same as the OG but more longevity an projection an maybe add a few slight modern touches without changing it much cause the scent is near perfect, an yea I know about the intense version. To me they smell different an not as close as people say but they are very similar also. I enjoy both an sometimes wear both at the same time

36y there, I tend to go for a 4 fragrances rotations, 2 for spring/summer, 2 for fall/winter.
My picks :
- DHS and Costa Azzura parfum (spring/summer)
- Boss Bottled Elixir and Nuit d'Issey (fall/winter)

I've always looked at eros flame as a warm weather frag. Reminds me of a summer Miami night.
Ive been collecting for years, tried Dior homme 2020 when it released. Modern, simple but still multi-layered. Nothing like it out there. Has been my daily since, about to pick up my 4th 100ml.
Just heading out to Portugal for 12 nites, had a bottle of Polo 67 in my washbag.
Then, at the duty free, blindly bought Dior Homme Sport.
Initially, reminded me of TDH (which I wasn’t the biggest fan of). However, the dry down is something else, meant in a positive way.
DHS is the first blind buy I’ve added to my collection. And I’m not disappointed.
Still use Dior Sauvage EDT for every day, even in the winter ..
I'm a fan too. I own the EDP, Parfum and Elixir.
Can you do more niche fragrances? Seems a lot of reviewers are doing the same designer fragrances over and over again

dior homme sport you can wear every season not just for summer
I think you can wear anything any time of the year and just try them out and you’ll realise if they don’t feel right, for example i recently wore Gucci guilty elixir to work on a very hot summer day and i went easy with the sprays but i could smell it the whole shift very strongly and i felt very hot working was sweating a lot moving around etc and it was like working in a cloud of hot amber and sweat so i learnt that one i can’t get away with in the summer 😂 but for example Gucci by Gucci pour homme is dark but very light and that can work all year round in my opinion they don’t have to be freshies in spring and summer just like they don’t have to be darker ones in the autumn and winter
Try wearing fragrances based on it's heart and the season they bloom or are harvested ex.
Chocolate is harvested in summer and winter
Fig produce two crops a year, late spring to early summer, and the second, late summer to early fall.
Coconut & Lemons, year round, winter lemons, November to March.
Cherries June & July
Juniper berries harvested year-round, best in fall.
Lavender & plums, from late spring to early fall
Plums, from late summer to early fall
Oranges March to late December or January
DH2020 is the best of the Homme line by far. Iris gives the insta-headache and super cloying smell. DH Sport is also great, more fresh but just not as refined as DH2020.
Ended up selling homme 2020. Bought it for a fresh scent , and the opening nailed it, but it went almost ambery on the drydown and didnt match what I wanted it for. Sport worked better but not as great as the opening of 2020

Prada Lhomme is my favorite designer fragrance as it got me started in this hobby
Dior Homme Cologne is my everyday fragrance. I usually add a spray of Scentlabs Ambroxan, and it lasts all day long... very subtle and citrusy

I love Tom Ford Ombré Leather. Bought Afnan Rare Carbon and Maison Alhambra Amber & Leather for a combined $60 after taxes. Both are beasts with slightly different openings.
I ran out of an old Creed Aventus I had and didn’t want to pay creed inflation prices so bought Club De Nuit Intense man along with the first OG Club De Nuit Man (Paco Rebonne 1million) and man they last super long. I’m choking people out! Which I like. 😂

Some 11-year-old boys DO wear designer fragrances. My nephew is 11 and recently bought himself Green Stravaganza and, yes, Le Male! He also has Eros and Legend Spirit. I'm so proud of him.

Gonna say it. Vintage is the #1 fragrance for over 40 man looking for a deal. I actually have been using that everyday for months and put some in my bathroom sprayer
So basically everything at sephora lol I still want that y2k/90's frags that still bang video my guy. Pretty please. I've been looking to the past because modern frags are stale.
Mine would be Acqua Di Gio Profumo. I have 2 almost full 125ml bottles. When those eventually run out due to daily use I'd then move on over to Mancera Intense Cedrat Boise.

I remember when the original JPG le male came out I was 20 and I wore it a lot, I liked it, now I don't really touch it that much anymore but I do have the other ones like ultra male, elixir, le parfum, I have Le beau, Paradise garden, lover and on board, still a fan...👍💯
