      Great stuff Gems. Very intricate details. Check out this clip 1:33 into the video. This is the guy that brought Crawford to Gleason's gym to spar Carlos Adames back in 2015. When you go back to your posting on these two, fighters, you'll find my words state that *Crawford* would *decimate,* _destroy_ and *KO **_Spence!_* I didn't give a bias analyst as I did give a bold prediction from highlighting Spence's flaws. Bud's flaws switches up from his stance. I kept saying that once you take away Spence's jab that he becomes amateurish. I also said, "Crawford will counter everything!" I proved to be 100% spot on!

    • @BoxingGems

      @@JEDIAL9 You guessed Crawford would take away the jab. We had never seen Crawford deal with a solid volume southpaw jab. That the only issue with the comment. We don’t like to do guess work around here. It’s about film. That jab was the X factor.

      @@BoxingGems Incorrect. So, you mean to tell me that Crawford didn't take away Pistol's jab? Or, what about Gamboa's. Wait a minute, maybe he didn't take away. KHAN's and Brook's jabs either. Agreed. Our use of language to describe fighters "bum," when undeserving or the other extreme "great" has ruined proper perspective for either case. The Danny Garcia's and Avensyan's are not bums, but fine, professional fighters who've gotten beaten. Conversely, whilst perhaps otw to greatness, Crawford and Inouye have yet to achieve that, although are otw.
      It does a disservice to greats of the past to call someone else great too early and a disservice to someone like Crawford to call Avenysian a "bum."
      Since when is calling someone like Spence a "damn good fighter" not good enough?
      Proper perspective is called for.

    Spence trainer Derrick James has to take some accountability for the lack of game planning in this fight. To one have one plan vs a high level fighter like Crawford was terrible. There should have been at least three or four adjustments ready entering the fight.

    1:52 Ima keep rewatching to understand, but it looks like multiple hits are thrown here.
    Edit: I thought it was multiple jabs or a really quick one two, it was just his hand kinda quivering and camera shit that makes the one punch blur and look like two.

    Ngl those were some vicious jabs from Crawford... remember guys he knocked Brooks out with 1 single jab like that. I'd say Spence was extremely strong to take all those punches..

    Another great video! Appreciate you Gems! However, i don't think everyone who predicted Bud would dominate or beat Spence easily was biased. They may have seen something you didn't see. While much of your pre-fight analysis was spot on, you wrongly predicted that Spence would win the inside battle, which he clearly failed to do.

    • @BoxingGems
      @BoxingGems  ปีที่แล้ว

      “I believe Spence would likely dominate an inside fight with Crawford”.
      I didn’t predict Spence would win every exchange on the inside. As also predicted, the fight was no where near an inside fight but both had their moments there. Did you not see Spence have most of his success inside? Do you know what you are watching?
      “VIRTUALLY no one that doesn’t have a bias expected the one-sided demolition”
      Please stop making points off misquotes.

  • @bankslaw8900
    @bankslaw8900 ปีที่แล้ว

    The Film don’t lie! You were spot on when you said Spence hasn’t seen someone who don’t default to high guard. Bud Philly was impenetrable and allowed a seamless transition to offense

    I think I overestimated Spence's fight IQ and I underestimated Bud's (and/or maybe his team's). I really didn't think he would come out with such a perfect gameplan. I thought that if it became a battle of the jabs then Spence would control the action. But I thought Bud had a good chance of stopping him, starting with a counter while Spence was on the lead foot and then going for the finish. I thought it would be a decision for Spence or a TKO for Bud. Spence couldn't adjust. He had no answer for the lead hand with Bud's jab.

    • @firellparker7463
      @firellparker7463 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Cause he doesn't have an Elite lead hand, an Elite lead hand with footwork and great positioning will take you to the mountains. My estimations in regards to is IQ has gone up. He never had the IQ of bud but he showed me more in that fight. I'm not trolling. The latter rounds when he knew he was in danger he started doing things I haven't seen from spence, it's just that he wasn't refined doing it. It's knowing what to do but how to do it to the level required. You probably underestimated Bud, but that's vecause peoole underestimated his competition

    Those “jabs” were power punches because Crawford is naturally a orthodox fighter I’d more so call them straights. In addition to that Derrick James didn’t prepare for Crawford the way bomac and team prepared for spence. Spence team had 1 game plan and when it didn’t work they still had the same plan hoping spence would land something big to change the fight Derrick James even said it more than once while in the corner coaching

    Can we all acknowledge that Spence went into this fight completely delusional and believing his own hype ?

    Spence has very good form in throwing his jab, however, Crawford's two inch reach advantage held sway over the slower Spence. Smart money knew Crawford was more than a "slight" favorited, he had the law of physics working in his behalf.
