Just found you. I screwed up and took the finish off an area antique maple Secretary drawers.. 1948... How do you "antique" the finish to dap on repair finish? Add umber to shellac?
I'm curious...did you have to look up what other racks look like? Did your Daughter sketch out what she wanted? Did she give you the final approval of the blueprint? I was expecting something a bit more 'old barn wood, gray looking'!

I nailed down her space needs, then drew up the design which she approved.
