I really really want this even though I’m an Australian university student! This means the planner starts at the beginning of Semester two, and goes into Semester one of the new school year in 2022. It also means pages such as the exam timetable may not line up with exams here, but I thought I could just stick something over that page and use it for something else. During high school this planner wouldn’t have worked for me, but due to the way University semesters work here I think I could make it work. I also agree that it has so many of the things I would absolutely love to have in a planner and it would be totally worth getting. I’m not sure if I will be able to get my hands on one, but I’m obsessed 😍

It is such a delight watching your videos, Ruby! They are so genuine and inspiring. I love planning and making lists, otherwise, I scatter around and get almost nothing done and I give in to stress. That is why I love your systems.
I also started reading again after such a long time, seeing how much you read reminded me of how much I used to read and how I used to enjoy simply reading without having to love each and every part of each book.

Something I would love to reccommend is maybe think about making a planner that isn't labeled with names for all the months or something along the lines of that...because my academic yr goes from April to march,and it would be so helpful if it wasn't already labeled :)

Oh my goodness this looks stunning! Would you ever consider having one that is unmarked or suited to a different academic year? I live in Australia and our academic year follows the normal year, starting in January/February and ending in December. It looks so beautiful and practical, I really want to be able to use it! ❤
I’m in Australia too, end of last year she released a yearly planner so I bought that to use for university, works perfect for our semesters! It’s pretty much identical to this but from January - December. Hoping she will release another later this year :)
I as a German second that request. Our Acedemic year is about two months behind on the Brits. For exampme, we are nearing the end of our exam period now but are not quite done yet.
That’s really odd to hear , I thought everyone started and finished at the same time . I’m in the Middle East and I start the academic year the same time as the brits I believe , anyway she has another planner that is perfect for you it is similar to this one but it’s starts in January and ends In December .
@@sallie3980 Haha, you don't know how confused I was when reading Harry Potter as a kid when they started school in September instead of January... It makes sense to me now though because we have different seasons and our summer holidays are during the Christmas break. Also thanks for the suggestion, I'm definitely gonna look at that!

It looks like a great planner! I love that each month has a different front page, but I miss a budget planner. The income calculator, when the maintenance loan arrives, university bursaries or scholarship. Another source of income, e.g. NHS fund, child support, part-time job. As most of the students have less income, these are pretty important things.

Hello Ruby, Evan though you may not see this I just wanted to say that you have inspired me so much and I have been watching you since 2015 when I was 6 and first introduced into Harry Potter and wanted to be just like Hermione so my dad went in TH-cam and found you for me and I have been watching all your videos and you make me happy and proud of who I am!
I have been bullied for as long as I can remember and you make me feel proud of my differences and to embrace them. Reading,studying and childish things make me happy (I am a child so it makes sense) but everyone is so grown up and it used to make me feel out of place but you though me to embrace it and I did and now I love myself Evan more.
Thank you so much for being such a kind hearted human and putting yourself out into the world and I know that I am not the only person that feels this way

Same, I'm 36 now and this planner looks so functional and I want it, but I'm not a student. I might keep an eye out for a standard year planner for next year though, if she does those? (This is my first video here.)
@@elizabethgrosvenor153 Hi! I actually ended up buying it and it's being very good to keep a daily to-do list of things I've got to do at work! I'm using it on my IT job and it's actually been super helpful. I've also repurposed some sections like the Academic Feedback for Management Feedback, and I'm actively using the Recommendations and Books I've Read pages. Sure, there are sections I may not use at all but they can be repurposed for something else or just ignored as they don't really take much of the planner!
Hopefully when Ruby starts working we'll get a more work-focused planner, but this one works perfectly as it is now :)

It just arrived! I've been filling it in this morning - and it truly is the best planner I've ever used. There's so much more space for to-do lists, I LOVE the doodles, and the design is beautiful AND functional! If you can get it, I would very much recommend. xxx

Please do a video on this! I just worry I would be misplacing information all of the time using digital and analog systems. I usually stick with a paper planner alone due to this. I do love to see awesome Notion set ups like this, and a video about how you keep up with both systematically would be fantastical! ❤️🌟 I am a millennial and I am noticing that I am not the only one of us who struggles with this. We all “trust” technology to work and for it also to fail us because of how much it has changed over the last decade. So analog is safest in our minds…but I really want to utilize both!
Interested also. I juggle Notion and iCal, but want to re-integrate the use of a paper planner (for the upteenth time)..
Added: I used to end up getting anxious for having left my planner at home only because it didn’t fit in my bag, so I returned to electronic methods, but there is something incomparable about hand-writing one’s plans. A solution to balance both types would be immensely helpful.
I too have this concerns- I kind of mess up with the notion and my paper planner now....
I also have the same problem. Currently I'm using notion and planner. I want to use it both to track my activities. I always want to make it integrated, but it always ends up with just using one of them. Please Ruby, could you make a video about this? Thanks :)

if you design another planner next year, you should include the washi tape and postcards like printed onto the pages. It would look so cute!

Love the new planner! Quick idea:
Although all the extra things you added sound very useful and important (such as the gaol list or the list of recommended books and such), I can imagine that a lot of students (including myself) have a lot of things to carry around during the day and pages like that don't really need to be in a planner that you take with you every day and everywhere.
Maybe next year you could do a second planner (like a minimalistic version - same layout and calendar sections as the regular, just without the extras)?

I can’t even explain how excited I am about this… I struggle so much with getting organised and prioritising with having ADHD. I’m going into my last year at university before I graduate this year and if I could organise my thoughts in my head, this is exactly how it would be. Iv already set a reminder for when they go on sale and can’t wait to sit down with my own one and re-watch the video again and fill mine in with you! It brings a tear to my eye that there is actually something like this out there and honestly can’t thank-you enough for sharing it x

So today I learned that at British universities, a 70 or higher is first class honors. This is a crazy concept for me, considering that in America THAT’S THE LOWEST PASSING GRADE YOU CAN GET!!!

It would be so nice to have Ruby talking a little bit more in detail about her classes and what exactly they are reading and stuff.😁 As a fellow English literature student from a different part of Europe that would be so interesting. I love this so much!!! I got one last acadeic season, it was so helpful and I used it all year long. I hope the initial launch is really big this year so more people can get their hands on these amazing planners!
I'm not a student but I love planning and planners and this one looks lovely! Would love for you to create 2 next year one for students and one for none students. I would buy one in a heart beat. £16 is also extremely reasonable for a planner so big and with so much detail. Maybe sell the none academic one for £20 (as people working usually have more disposable income) And for every none academic planner sold maybe a £1 donation could be made to a charity that helps lower income students buy books for school and stationary etc, just an idea. Either way you have really outdone yourself with this one Ruby, you should be so proud of yourself

This is perfect and will definitely be buying! Only criticism is that I like having a whole page per day but the other features definitely make up for that! Such a wonderful and practical planner I am excited!!

I’m not a planner, i think my mind is too distracted and I change my mind so much and never really stick to it. But when I got into year 11 I found a way for me to do it. Defo going to order when it comes out. And I’m going into year 12 in September so I definitely need to get more organised. I think the fun spreads throughout will also be a motivator.
This would have been the perfect birthday present as it releases the day i turn 21, but ive already bought a planner for this year and i feel like i should have waited because now i really want this one. Hopefully you release one next year too so i can wait and buy it because these are beautiful 🪐🖤
