I installed and worked on sprinklers systems for years. The sharpshooter shovel is your best friend. This is hard work and I very much appreciate your work ethic. Amazing
Brother, I wish I had known about your videos before I bought our house. Unfortunately, after buying our house we discovered a problem, which led me to TH-cam searches. That's when I stumbled across your videos. I have learned so much from watching. Please, keep up the good work and awesome videos! I will definitely spread the word about checking out your videos to anyone I know that is about to buy a home with a Septic system!
Good work as always bro!! I knew nothing about septic systems before I started watching your channel. Now I have a pretty solid understanding on everything. I appreciate your information!!
Love watching your videos very informative. I was surprised you didn’t mention the running water on the inlet side, mentioning that to the new homeowner. Somethings leaking if there’s nobody in the house. Great fun.
My house was built in 1981 My comcrete septic tank is taking in huge amounts of rain water whenever the water table goes high. Pump runs constantly when this happens. I have had some quotes for tank replacement and most companies are recommending a fiberglass tank........not sure if i should request concrete, I am in manitoba canada and we see plus 34c in the summer and -40c in the winter. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks!
Why do people cover the lids with grass and dirt you’ll have to dig up every time!. I’d have a lid level with the grass, Or an inch below and put fake grass on top of the lid. Anyway!, I’m very lucky not to have this extra expense as I live in the uk 🇬🇧 and our country is too small!
Do you recommend risers and a plastic lid that sets at ground level to avoid the digging next time. What about a filter between the solid and liquid tanks.
I recently saw a Cottonelle package of "Flushable" wipes that claimed to break down like regular Toilet paper after 30 seconds. At the same time when I was working in the same isle the baby wipes on the other side had a massive "DO NOT FLUSH" warning directly on the other side.
Do you refill with water when done? Is it like a new septic that you fill so it doesn't pop out of ground? That's got to be the biggest paint stirrer ever lol.
Wouldnt you want to run a locator down the outlet or probe and dig test pits in the leach field next to the pipes/chambers? Those are more expensive than the tank.
No, it would actually help by keeping detergents and bleach out of the septic tank, which can kill bacteria that a good septic tank needs to function well.
100%. Had a septic inspection before we bought our property. Sellers paid $29,500 to replace the septic.
As they should!

Inspection and pump out is a must here in AZ when selling. We joke you literally have to take your 💩 with ya.
Yep i bought a old cabin and had the tank inspected and it needed replacement. Saved me 20k. But love the place now
I honestly never thought I’d be so interested in this sort of thing 😄 I’ve been binge watching this for like two hours now!!
😅

Thank you! In contract to buy pending septic inspection. Good to know what the tech will be doing.
Seriously, risers should be SOP when the system is installed just to save effort not having to dig up the lids come maintenance time.

Don't do fiberglass tank.... They are prone to getting brittle over time and will eventually collapse
@@bmaiceman And the concrete tanks disintegrate and let in water
What kind of septic system is used when the water table is fairly close to the surface? Are there ones that are for that type of condition? Thanks!!
its called fill it and pump it or its called hook into the city sewer
You'd need aerobic treatment.
Great job. 🎉

Texas looks incredibly hot to work outside
Thanks for the education,🙂
Watching this video shows all the labour of digging and the noise from the equipment.
Still trying to understand inlet and outlet.🙂
Inlet is the pipe that enters the tank from the home. Outlet is the pipe exiting the tank to the drain field. Hope that helps 😄
Sir, is worth testing drain field with a hose running before you empty the tank?
It's the Well of Souls from Indiana Jones 😂
Do you recommend buying a house with well and septic? What should I expect.😩
Why do I find it interesting every time I watch one of your videos. Lol. Maybe because I wonder where all the shit goes. Lol
I have a new house, 2 years old.
Septic is a concrete double chamber, my question is do u pomp both sides? Thank you
You charge an extra fee to dig correct?
Do you refill with water when done? Is it like a new septic that you fill so it doesn't pop out of ground? That's got to be the biggest paint stirrer ever lol.
That’s only for new tanks. When you get your tank pumped out they don’t do that.
Serious Pablo Escobar vibes going on with that enormous satellite dish in the garden :D
One of my elderly neighbors has one in their backyard, put in many years ago and since cable came in they don't use it
SMELLS LIKE MONEY
💵💩😤
How much would risers have cost to put them in that unit?
Question - Are you gonna upgrade to the iPhone 14 or 14 pro?
Literally just upgraded this past week to the 14 pro. Still have my 13 Pro Max as well
Nice
Where would you get square risers, because all i can find are round risers?
Wouldnt you want to run a locator down the outlet or probe and dig test pits in the leach field next to the pipes/chambers? Those are more expensive than the tank.
Water from the tank would make great Fertilizer.
You ever drop a lid inside a tank??
I’m a little ignorant on the subject of septics, but if you diverted grey water( washing machine) would it disrupt normal operation of a septic tank?
No, it would actually help by keeping detergents and bleach out of the septic tank, which can kill bacteria that a good septic tank needs to function well.
What should I expect to pay for an inspection?
100-200USD
Do you ever see Tomato 🍅 plants 🌱 growing in the tanks?. In 🇬🇧 we always have tomatoes growing at the sewage because humans don’t digest them!
