Thank u my friend u helped me alot iny w201i have asd pump but i think its the same sls pump but i removed all bolts and even opened the pump and it still stuck it just wigls around
Many Thanks! I have many more, but finding the time is crazy. Although you may be interested to know that my next series of How To videos will be from start to finish on a classic Mini imported from the UK.
As in the video, I'm a novice trying to give back to the awesome Mercedes community. I would think that, yes, the pump installation should be very similar between W126 and W123. Good Luck!
Could be a variety of things, but as suggested already, one culprit could be the "spheres" at the rear portion of your suspension. They are often called "spheres" because to look at, they look like round black balls. The official name I believe is "Aircell". The job can be a DIY, but rather messy.
Just picked up a 560SEL yesterday. I’m excited to get involved in the car and I appreciate your clear and comprehensive video. Thank you for the help!
Awesome… what color is your interior? I might have some items you can have
This was a very well done tutorial and extremely helpful. Great job. Post more videos we are all will be watching.

Hi, great video. How did you know that your pump failed? How do you test it before attempting to replace it?
great vid very clean graphics and explaination THANKS!
I would have used a turkey baster. That's what I use to empty the brake and power steering fluid.
Excellent video
Thanks for a really helpful and thorough video. I've got a W123 and I assume the removal process is more or less the same.

Appreciate your humble, quiet, insightful and helpful tutorial. Thanks for sharing your experience to help make our attempts easier!
There's no need to remove the belts, fan & fan shroud. The sealing washers are COPPER!!
