    Hi bro Reff. Been following and enjoying your vids of commutes and rides to places, especially on the sekinchan episode. Looking forward to more vids/contents on your channel. Also, cant help to notice your commute to Ampang area on this vid. My office is located just around the area too. I am also riding my cruiser as a daily commute to ampang for the past couple of months since i got her. Hopeful to cross your path on the road, and perhaps join you for a ride once the mco is over. Till then, safe ride brother. \m/

      Hi Eugene, glad that you like the video. I actually have another video with the same guys and with more riders from the Sekinchan ride but unfortunately, the footage had bad audio so I'm quite disappointed with it. I've wanted to go out and shoot more videos but yeah, let's just wait till this MCO is over. Sure man, once we're MCO free or can cross district at least hit me up and we'll go for a ride. Yeap, my office is quite close to Jalan Ampang as well. Safe ride, brada!!!

      @@reffutama2233 thanks for the reply bro Reff. Ow snap, would be nice to catch those sekinchan footage if not for the audio issue. Thanks for all the vids btw. Yea man, will slide into your dm once mco is lifted. Likewise, you can also find me on instagram under the name eugenemathew. Looking forward to ride with another bornean brother. Im a half baked sarawakian btw 😅. Will do more on the catching up if ever we crossed path. Thanks again for the reply and the vids. Cheers brother 🍻

    Your bike sounds great. I also have a 2007 900 custom (first bike) with cobra slip ons and they sound pretty good also. I also have 16" apes on mine but they look like they are taller than yours. Maybe it's just the risers i have. I could watch these videos all day...at least when I'm not making my own lol. Subbed from NC, USA

      Thanks. I didn't do much except for oil/fluid change, whitewall tyres, and a couple of cosmetics here and there. The pipes and air cleaner were from the previous owner. Yup, your apes are definitely taller. Subbed and seems like you got a wider angle than what I have. Chest mount?

    • @CDWB
      @CDWB 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@reffutama2233 no, that's a helmet mount on widest angle i could get. I think it's called superview. All i have done with mine was change oil...thankfully the previous owner spent all the money modding it.

      @@reffutama2233 ... You filtering thru traffic with those wide bars is like watching a video game ... keep making good choices! I'm considering the Vulcan 900 and the V-Star 950 as my top two picks to re-enter cycling after retirement. And I do like your apes ... are yours 12 or 14" rise? Thanks - Steve

    • @reffutama2233
      @reffutama2233  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@FnLn55 hey Steve. Those apes are 16". The best height would be par with your shoulder height or maybe slightly lower about an inch. Mine I would say about 1 inch higher than my shoulder. Making U-Turns with apes is something getting used to. Look at where you want to go and have faith on the bike.
      At the moment this is my daily commute so I need to get used to filtering. At first it gets intimidating but after awhile you'll get used to it. Do expect hitting side mirrors those. Yeah, it felt like a video game after awhile. Turn on the high beams and hope no one decides to suddenly switch lanes. The VN900 is a good bike I would say. Bike is well built and bullet proof. Have not given me any problems other than the wear and tear. good starter bike, its not heavy, parts are affordable than HD. I think mid size metric bikes is a good start. My only complain about this bike is it doesn't come with a 6th gear. I'll be making a review video on this bike soon, been tied up with work lately.

      @FnLn55 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@reffutama2233 ... Oh yeah, U-turns ... I hadn't thought about that, ha ... Thanks for that ... Seems like manufacturers want to reserve 6th gear for their bigger bikes, maybe they think nobody would upgrade ... The Kawa 900 is more plentiful and less expensive than the Yama 950 here in the states ... Liking the Vulcans a lot ... Stay safe!
