Don't he discouraged by the January wait time . That is a rough estimate. I ordered my plush last Friday and already received an email Monday that my doll is already shipping and will arrive on November 21
I wish they gave instructions on how to cut the hair and that they gave the doll actual feet. Other than that, I think it looks amazing, especially for the lower price point.
I don't think you can really give instructions on how to cut the hair especially how it is in the movie. That's just something you have to learn on your own. I think the easy and smart thing to do is to take it to a professional stylist with reference photos from the film to and have them cut and style it exactly as seen in the movie.
@@B1Kobe0824 I agree with you. However, I shouldn’t have to do that either. The hair should have already been cut the way it was supposed to. Styling the hair on your own was not in the sales pitch.
The feet aren't really an issue if anything the clothes are a little bit baggier on some people's dolls and thr hair is long on purpose so people can cut the hair themselves. Its not that hard or you can bring it to a barber shop worst case scenario.
Right, I’m turned off by this. I preordered the 200 one but now knowing it doesn’t come with the box, im thinking if I should cancel and order the 500 one but it’s so expensive
I'm very excited. I ordered one, can't wait to get it. I will definitely be altering some stuff. Maybe adding some more stuffing on the legs maybe, cause by the looks of it, they might be a little too floppy. And maybe figure out how to keep the shoes from coming off. I would hate for a shoe to come off while traveling and not notice.
this doll is better , its durable then the $500 and people had it and the more you move it the more you break - as its not intend to be moved but put on the wall as a design or display but as the plush feels like really chucky
Switch out the overalls with the Spirit Halloween doll. That one fits it much better. Same goes for the other doll. I did that when I got mine last week.
The plush one ( in my opinion ) is better than the 500 dollar one. As I had thar one but the foam starts ripping and braking eventually. At least the plush one won't tear or brake.
This is weird I pre-ordered it in July and now some people have got it I checked on trick-or-treat studios and it said they’re shipping January 15 this is so confusing
Hopefully you get it too. When I go to the Trick or treat Studio website it says that mine will be shipped by January. Even though I already received mine. Could be some lag on their end. Fingers crossed you get it by Thanksgiving
The original has the better clothes and wig material(from what I can tell by watching videos(I havent got the plush one yet). They both have their pros and cons. I am personally keeping my original, but I will be swapping all the parts around. I'm putting the originals clothes and wig on the plush version.
Halloween is never too early nor too late it’s year round around here! I think it looks pretty screen accurate. The overalls I’m sure could be adjusted and you could get him some socks. The hair could be brushed a bit or teased up however you wish this was a collaboration with Garrett Zima and TOTS. I’m not sure if you knew that. Otherwise I think you did a good job detailing some of the most important asked questions about the doll.
Looks pretty decent for the price point but screen accurate is a bit of a stretch. The hair would need more that just teasing as it's way too long for starters but not a big deal really. But at first glance the coveralls do look cheap and the body reminds me of the reviews of the Saw (Billy) puppet where it looks professionally made on the box just like in the movie. But when you open the box the body is very flat and flimsy. And something about the face idk just looks slightly different. But the guy in the video mentions that the face is a little wider than the original so that could be it. Still great for $200 and the best cheaper version on the market but not exactly screen accurate namely when it comes to the body, coveralls, and hair.
@@B1Kobe0824 Well, also to be fair, the original TOTS good guy doll isn’t all that screen accurate either, but at the end of the day they are mass produced dolls so you can’t complain too much. with a better hair cut, and perhaps a more accurate coveralls and sweater, the plush version would look more impressive than the original tots doll. but then again, it’s all opinion based right? 😂
@@izzystone6885 it's pretty close. The body is just made the way it is in order to pose it for display. And sure it doesn't have things like the battery compartment but all that can be done with a good rehaul. But still a better made doll with more to work with out the gate given the higher price tag. TOTS gives the ability to get horror replicas at a more affordable price but this particular doll was made was made for those who do not have the means of purchasing the $500 doll which is already a fraction of independent works or fans that refuse to pay the higher prices.
@@izzystone6885 well doing all that would be the same as rehauling the original wouldn't it Lol? And I do have photos of a rehauled Chucky. And for only $300 more it included a touch up paint, wig, battery compartment added, etc. Straight out of the movie without having to pay the hefty $1,500 - $2,000 price tag for the labor from an independent artist.

Also, the strap are velcro on the back. you can undo them and cross them like they are supposed to be and it will help with the bagginess.

One of my only complaints about my £500 one is that the skin tone is wrong. I love the look of this plush doll so I just made an order. Cant wait!
Different dolls were used in the movie which all vary in some way so I wouldn't sweat it too much.

I added some socks on him and it works. Helps fill the shoe up and keeps in place.

I've heard if you cross the overall straps in the back that it helps with it not being so baggy and keeps the overalls on better.
