    INCOME? No, it's liquidation of assets, income is when you make money, the government doesn't make ANY money, lets get this correct.

    • @danielng1999
      @danielng1999 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Income, yeah why not? After selling them to the next user they would order replacement parts and lubrication for maintenance perhaps for another next 20 years.

      I like the idea but this is ancient machinery 😂 and college use modern domestic market cars for students to practice on. And most people who own a MOD defender is probably working on it themselves

    • @BlueStarJT

      Yes exactly, give them to colleges or universities, to practise mechanics. Instead they are given to 3rd world countries, who later in times fight against us with our own vehicles.

    2:10 So you have to conduct sales "ethically" in terms of export. So basically, you just sell to middlemen that btw all have those "licenses and documentations...." , those middlemen "guarantee" they are legit, and then they sell that shit to third world countries and all are happy.

    You know these vehicles are just sat there until sold. And we get one bit of snow and the country stops. But these vehicles are still sat there. Is it me or can these it least help in some of the problems in the uk like floods snow land slides hell the uses are endless

    • @PaddyInf

      These vehicles are indeed just sat there. This means that most of them aren't capable of running without work. Keeping them in running order takes a lot of work and money - Ask any VM from REME.

    • @erikarneberg11
      @erikarneberg11 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gunslinger Yup. While the overall shape is similar (if you removed the turret from a Sherman), the Sherman went out of production at the end of WW II, and Shermans were made of steel. As stated in the video, these tracked recovery/engineering vehicles were made from aluminum (or aluminium, if you’re not American), and if I remember, were designed/produced in the ‘80s & ‘90s. I can go to my books and look up some specifics if you’d like?
