    Wow, this is a game changer. Love it. Super simple yet creates great rhythm and activates a whole new set of good swing thoughts.

    Have to tell you this as I don't have the body to practice in the way I need to justify a membership. (Only play tournament round never practice, the pain is just too severe.) Your free stuff here on TH-cam is unique. It's the best within your own nitch and I really love it. I might not have the body to try it but just to see it fix most of my issues (in terms of my knowledge of the correct concepts, anyway.) Once again. thanks!👍

    The Gears golfer overlay graphics are AWESOME! Much easier than playing "spot the difference"

      Couldn't agree more. Makes slowing down the swing pretty easy.

    Love your videos! I was wondering if you could do a video differences of a fade versus draw swing with details at set up, club face, swing path, shoulders, etc between the two. also if you could maybe explain why a power fade is more popular now then draw now on tour. Thank you very much :)

    Guys
    This is awesome! The drill works so well and took me up a good 5mph! Have just been working through a competitors swing program for the past 6 months and I currently have reverse hip slide, about 60 deg of hip turn and shut at impact...and a very sore hip and a lot less power than I went in with. Please give me a deal on your ilessons and site and I’m a complete convert to AMG!!

    Mike, Shaun, light bulb moment. I've never seen the lines you drew on the blue golfer in 2nd video at 8:10 mins before. While I've been desperately been trying to put your "downhill' position into practice I've always had a lower body focus - bend left knee, etc but if you're upper body is in the wrong position it doesn't work. Now I have the visual of how to position the upper COM to in relation to the lower COM to get in the right position to generate the feel. OMG (or is that AMG)!!!

    i've messed around with the "downhill move" and the two problems that i had with it was my hands always wanted to "go out" from the top and the other was the rebound move down would really cause the club to "gear effect" under through the swing. And hitting up on the driver seems impossible with it. I don't have this sweet tech so perhaps i wasn't doing it right. Great work thanks for the vidz

    Hi guys! I follow you on insta because of all the interesting facts about the golf swing. So thank’s for that. Q: I’m about a hair short of Rory and have played golf about 25 years (I’m 40) between 160 and 165 lbs. Do you think it’s possible to gain about 10 miles with your program? Avg 110 now and about 165 in ball speed. My current hcp is low and I have been at + in my late jr years. Thanks 😊

    Fellas thats me! Reverse hip slide - flat hip turn going back! Please educate me how to fix it. I have the concept there is slight tilt away from the target at setup and at impact.

    Do a video on NECK TURN. Most people do not have the ability to turn their neck like an owl and look behind their downward shoulder with an extended lead arm - as your avatars can - and that is a huge limiting factor in a backswing. Measurable Pro golfer NECK TURN. Anyone can turn back like a pro if they didn't have to actually see the ball. Do a video on Pro NECK TURN vs amatuer.

    So, is the first move off the ball a brace into the inner right leg? I know we don’t want to sway, or get onto the outer right leg.

    • @AthleticMotionGolf
      @AthleticMotionGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      just "step on the right foot" to start the swing...dont sway to the outside of your right foot. :)

    At the range I noticed that at address I tilt my head slightly right, right handed hitter. So I started keeping it upright. There were minor but drastic differences in contact. Would love to see yall address this in a vid. The visual difference, the perspective, the sight line....
    Is it just me or is there some science behind this?

    • @AthleticMotionGolf
      @AthleticMotionGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think I may have the wrong concept about unfolding the right arm. Wouldn't it be better to hold off the unfolding and then firing through impact? When I tried unfolding quickly from the top I just ended up with misstrikes and poor low point control.

    • @AthleticMotionGolf
      @AthleticMotionGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfold it almost as if you had a ball in your right hand and you are throwing it down at the ball on the ground

  • @buddymaxwell6881
    @buddymaxwell6881 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    In your previous video you show that pros "sway" to the right an average of about 1.25 inches at left arm parallel. What is the biggest move away from the ball before re-centering from what you've seen on Gears? Do taller players tend to "sway" a little more?

    • @AthleticMotionGolf
      @AthleticMotionGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      one of the longest hitters on the pga tour moves around 3 inches off the ball in takeaway

      @@AthleticMotionGolf Thanks. I'm abut 6'2" (been in your Cartersville bunker before, YT pseudonym here), this move is very important to my swing, but I always have to remember to have a quick pause and push off on my right heel before moving re-centering. Not feeling like its one continuous move helps my thinking. This was a great reminder for me. Thanks for all your work.

    my problem is much much more severe on irons as opposed to my Driver. Does this AMG Speed system good for irons.

    My recurrent fault is that I sway to the right away from the ball on my backswing rather than turn. I can then find it hard to get back to the ball and strike the ball cleanly.

      His videos after the stroke show a man nearing the end of his life desperately trying to impart his knowledge. I believe he knew there was a tsunami of malarchy on the golf swing coming the public's way and he was trying to stave it off. Like the Dutch boy with his finger in the hole in the dam. Alas the dam broke and many were hurt as a result. Very moving in its way. I'm very thankful for amg for helping to get the message out on the realities of the golf swing. You've certainly been a big help to me.
