This a hilarious coincidence. I first saw this thing on line yesterday and started to watch it. I hung with it until the Ninja popped out of the floor, desperately hoping ANYTHING would get better, but it didn't. I hung it up and moved on to something more productive, like watching my grass grow. Right up there with the worst ever put out. I continued to struggle with watching the clips between your comments where as usual, they were great. Maybe you should continue this as a monthly feature called "We Review the Worst Movie We've Seen Since the Last Time"

I never heard of it, but reading that a ninja pops out of the floor makes me wonder how can it not be good. I will watch the reaction before I jump into it though. I rented benediction the other day thinking it was about World War One. Once bitten twice shy.

One of my favorit Beers and Breakdowns! Absolutely brilliant. Loved the trashtalk and Abel seemed way more comfortable with this one.
Nice review. If you try to break this movie down with logic and army tactics it will, you get frustrated. Just watch this movie as a comedy and you will be in the right head space. You missed the best line of the movie: "He was good (at torture). Too good sometimes. Killed two prisoners while he was torturing them."

Unironically i think In the Army Now is the MOST REALISITIC potrayal of basic ever made. Because it takes everyone's "this one guy" or "this one time in basic" stories and shoves them ALL in. It is hilarious

They are changing the pink and greens for like the daily service uniform, ocps for training and motorpool, and the blues are staying as service uniform for like balls and events

Even after smoking 2 bowls my girl and I could only take about 5 minutes of skipping ahead through the movie before I had to close netflix ... and boy do I wish I could get those 5 minutes back

Dudes! The uniform is an homage to the WWII era uniform referred to as "Pinks and Greens". Also, her insignia is for an Air Defense officer. That said, the movie does look like it is horrible. Thanks for making it somewhat entertaining and saving my 2 hours of watch time.
Add a laugh track and this thing is Oscar bound.

As someone who has not watched this movie, I lost it at the pillow graffiti part. I started envisioning that scenario and tried to think of the one guy that came up with the idea trying to convince the others to join in.
The SBX is real and there's 3 I think. They don't have missiles though.
There's way more Air defense units all over the US and abroad lol look up Guam's air defense.
Also, the SBX "command center" looks nothing like that. You can get a tour of the sbx in Hawaii when it's docked. The command center isn't accessible to the public but they have slides to show you

I have the new AGSUs (Army green service uniform aka pinks & greens) and yeah it looks correct other than I’m pretty sure she has too many awards on her chest. I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure they have a limit on how many awards you can wear. Also idk how an O-3 in a missile defense unit got so many different awards cause that was insane😂 she looks more like she should have some stars on her shoulders😂😂
Edit: also what lieutenant colonel is gonna let a damn captain speak to them like that😂
This movie was ridiculous turned up to 1000. Folks our missile defense strategy is not predicated on two SBX radar sights…. They’re simply one layer in a multi-layer missile defense strategy. Also the shooter is not co-located on the SBX platforms themselves.
Glad we have Emma working on our missle defense systems.

This is why I can’t watch movies today! I’ve learned to much about real life human interactions, and proper military techniques to watch a quasi real movie! I’d rather watch Star Wars or Lord of the Rings and enjoy fantasy!

Its actually a law that Production Film companies can not depict a modern military uniform 100% accurate (Supreme Court Case Schacht v. United States). UNLESS you get approval from DOD officials. That why his Rank maybe be up side down or just lazy AD thats not doing their job. But it is a law,
Schacht v United States actually states the opposite is true. Actors can wear military uniforms on First Amendment grounds, regardless of the production's portrayal of the military. They do not have to be incorrect to be worn in a performance.
That makes sense, because having no way to tell actors from legitimate military people would be dangerous. However they may have overestimated how little the two are capable of resembling one another in that ruling 😂
As an avid student of Japanese history, I can say that Kurt is almost 100% accurate on his ninja theory. Ninjas did operate in day time and they wore everyday cloths to blend in. And we can safely imagine that the "day ninjas" had to be more skillful.
The black ninja "uniform" we are familiar with is mostly a stage prop used in dramas to represent the fact that ninjas are "invisible".

Give the terminal list another go. Its get better and better for every episode and has some very good action scenes i would love to see you break down. When he builds a emf i think and some good shootouts
Definitely… I enjoyed it so much I just watched the whole thing at once. Around episode 4 I should have stopped to go to bed for work the next day but couldn’t… I figured, so I’ll be delirious and a bunch of people will get the wrong mail… won’t be the first time or the last.
Completely agree! I almost stopped but pushed into the second episode and started to like it more and more. The episodes only get better as the season goes on

Some movies are strictly just for turning your brain off, having fun and getting lost in the madness... Eg. The Fast Franchise. It was fun for me.

I was legitimately entertained by how atrocious this movie was! Was waiting for a breakdown and I know how much you had to cover but you really should have commented on the Russian sub captain who decided to spare her life out of pure respect for her awesomeness even tho he wouldn’t have known about anything she had done over the course of the movie cause he was captaining the freaking sub! 🤣
It's been a while ago that I watched this, but if memory serves, the sub captain was up on deck watching when the chick and the big bad (sorry, literally the only character's name in this movie I remember is PVT Beaver LOL) had their final confrontation.
