It has been theorized that it was originally going to be a wild west line, but they changed it to zombies because the saw potential to make more money.
That would be cool, especially if you inserted the thing into the front (maybe use whatever the front piece for the roughcut as little "mags" for this thing)

I am actually gonna try to make this. Based on how yours broke, im probably gonna try to use some copper piping to ensure it wont break the small circle there. Do you have any drawn up plans for this? I'd love some internal shots or concept sketches.
Fun fact: John Browning was working on designs for what for what would become the 1897 Trench Shotgun when he was contacted by Winchester to make a lever-action shotgun. Browning declined, saying pump-action was basically the future of shotguns. Winchester stood their ground, so Browning made the lever-action shotgun they requested, the 1887, which was a novel improvement of current lever guns, with as few pieces as possible in its robust action. It attained some mild success until his older design for the Trench Gun blew it out of the water when it served the US Army through both World Wars. Case and point, it's interesting that you replaced pump with lever-action when history did the opposite.
Walcom, in all honesty, I would've suggested utilizing a Slingfire stock and trigger system instead of the Roughcut trigger system. It would have been a bit more ergonomic and would be give the blaster a little more comfort.
That is gorgeous, you should add a beefy spring and some lead counterweighting so you can swing/flip prime with ease. and you should put brass in the barrels so that the darts dont fall out.
I was just hacking away at a longshot muzzle dor a solid 3 hours and finally got it to fit in my alpha trooper, and the spectre barrel and yellow raider stock matches perfectly

i have a rough cut holster. my solution was to just leave the grip in the back primed position because of the way my holster works and fits. mine is modes with brass and k-26 springs. the thing hits like a nuke. although i agree that this is a cool mod, i can't see how this is more practical. for the price to get another sling fire for the handle i could get a rough cut and the necessary materials to make it just as good as my current one. although i will consider doing this in the future i don't see any real performance gains in doing this.
Any chance on how to make that extension for the slingfire lever? Or a video actually butting the thing together for the first time? I'm thinking of doing this to my roughcut, but i want to make sure i have what it takes to do so, and don't want to dismantle my slingfire without being more confident.

I hope that nerf releases some kind of Wild West line in the future. Needs a Mega revolver ( search mega samaritan ), definitely a revolver like the hammershot, or something like a strong arm but with a hammer prime mechanism. A rifle with side loading would be cool something like a winchester. A Lawbringer could be cool or atleast a Lawbringer like blaster.
I could sand-cast it and what not but i'd have to have it perfect before that and this is HARD to perfect, in fact right after this video I shelved it because it was hard to prime as the trail wasn't perfect and didn't work the way it needed it. You could prime it but it was really stressful.
to be bluntly honest this would make for a HORRIBLE primary but it may be the best secondary for those who want a genuinely one handed secondary, just get a more sturdy leaver and a more spacious gap on the leaver then a speed or interchangeable barrel sets (hint hint) and you would have something that even the most anti shotgun nerfers would like in a sense.
I would try and find a big set of sissors, take it apart and use the halve with the largest fingerhold to use as the prim ing handle... much more sturdy then a poly piece of ...well... structural integrity ... good luck...

Very cool! I was planning a similar build except I was going to cut down a sling fire and slap the smart ar from the roughcut in it
I'd flip the lever so it matches the grip making it both astheticly pleasing and much more comfortable

What if your had a steel version of the lever made for this, would it be better or worse?
Might break the connections to the plungers easier, but would probably prime easier. Problem is it's hard to make stuff like that.
