I know this doesn't sound right but I was so glad to hear that you've gone through depressions through depressions it's so hard to love things in the world
I heartily enjoyed this! I first saw the Rev. Dr. Guite on the Fantasy Makers documentary about Tolkien, Lewis, and MacDonald and enjoyed his segments. It's clear that he loves to laugh and have a good time. This was both very informative and an immense pleasure.
Oh my word! I've listened 5 times already and took 6 pages of notes! So so beautiful! I was asking the question Malcolm posed, "What does each thing mean", trying to understand. This is so beautiful and helpful towards that end! Are there any more teachings I could hear on this? Thank you so much!!!
I'm sorry, but if you think Marx's vision posited man as homo economicus, you've completely misread him. He argued the opposite - and pointed out that it is capitalism that so conceives of human beings. Nor can Marx be blamed in the slightest for Leninism or Stalinism.
How marvelous to be 'in' on this conversation
A constant upliftment 🤗

People are capable of love I think it's a big dream we've created a hope
Magnificent, Malcolm. Such a delight and blessing!
Well done, Royce.
Malcolm, thank you for reimagining for me Dante via C S Lewis. This is very exciting.

Best into ever.
Idk what he’s talking about but I think he’s full of it. I like listening tho
Full of love, indeed
@@guitarguide533 full of pride
@@benh4984 there’s good pride and there’s bad pride. Nothing wrong with feeling pride in helping others
@@guitarguide533 this is bad pride
As are we all. I know him, and he is humble because he gives that pride to the Lord and asks Him to teach him humility. @@benh4984
The virtue turns vice misaplied. The virtues have gone mad they have been isolated from each other @5:25, I wonder in what way?
